Enquired about Aizome and was shown this pretty mini Verrou in Tomekon lizard.
Love the color and leather but mini Verrou is an easy pass.

I just discovered this thread and I'm obsessed now! Are these quota bags/rare to come by (even if its not a B/K/C)? Most of what I've seen dyed in this method seems to be exotics, how often do they make them with non-exotic leathers or would this have to be a SO type thing?
Welcome to the thread! I’m in the states and can only speak to the B and K. They are considered quota bags. I’m thinking they could be hard to get. It wasn’t on my radar but was offered one. These are gorgeous!
Someone here posted a non-exotic leather so appears it comes in more than exotic leathers. Have not heard it’s an option as a SO. Wouldn’t that be cool! Hope H comes out with more!!

Mine (mini Bolide) is not a quota bag of course but was certainly rare and I was very lucky to be offered it (in Melbourne). I chatted about aizome with a lovely SA when I was in Sèvres last and she simply commented “très très rare” with a smile.
Apologies if anyone else has commented this already, but the process really does seem to suit all the exotic skins particularly well: the 3D nature of follicles of ostrich and the scales of gator/croc/lizards are enhanced by the ink like nature of the dye
Yes. It was intended for one season only in 2021. As usual, Hermès bags delivery arrive whenever they arrive even if it was intended for earlier seasons/years.
All the leathers that Aizome was used have been shown on this thread. The only non-exotic is Peau Porc.
No, seasonal items are rarely allowed if at all for SO.
