Nope. I have a 3 month old son and didn’t want to leave him for more than two hours with our Nanny and I did not want to bring him on my own. If I had planned ahead I could have had my mom come with me and watch the baby while inside. I am going to the Paris sale in June and I will be going with a friend, so will have help with baby. I should have listened to you on there being so many shawls!

Sorry ! I tried to enable you as much as I could :)
Paris will be better though ! Wonder if you can still get VAT back !

ohh that’s too bad lynne!! i myself am debating the paris sale but after this shawl haul i may not. lol. cause the main thing i buy from hermès are shawls (besides purses). and i’m scared the paris sale will be insane like in january.

i got there around 6 pm and no line at all to get in the men’s section. tons of CDGMs which surprised me. also some
CDC and other bracelets. barely saw any things for men honestly lol. i got 6 shawls bc they upped the quantity but when i paid the cashier said quantities limits were no longer being enforced since it was almost closing time.

i moved on to the women’s section next around 7 pm and again no line (i saw some people lined up at 6 pm so that’s why i hit the men’s section first). when i stepped in i couldn’t believe how many CSGMs were available!! tons of selection left though i know earlier there was more (i had a friend go early in the morning) but it was definitely still impressive considering it was end of the day. found 4 more shawls to buy (i have issues) and also an extreme kelly dog in rose gold black epsom.

overall super happy since i don’t like 90 silks and my main jam is CSGMs. i was in heaven!!! my credit card not so much. plus i saw a few shawls i paid regular price for, that hurt. [emoji24]

they had fewer silks left, nothing much in 90 cm size, just some larger silks and moussies. still decent selection of enamel bracelets and lots of CDC left, mostly in anemone, a dark teal, rose japuir and i think barenia? kelly double tour only left in a pink lizard.

honestly they had enough stock by the end of the day to hold the sale for at least another full day. i guess it does depend what you are looking for tho!

I am like you that I am only after the 140 Cashmere shawls. I would have loved the second one from the left in your first picture. May I ask if you got that one from the man's section? I didn't bother to line up in the man's section, because I thought well, it was all man's stuffs.

the first pic are my shawls from the men’s room. and the first shawl in my second pic as well. the rest were women’s room. frankly the men’s room had barely any men’s stuff. lol.

Yeah I wouldn't go to Paris just for sale. The timing just worked out this time for me (I go every summer to visit friends who live there). One of the Paris sales had no shawls, so consider yourself lucky!

It really was a dream for csgm, I felt bad for everyone that wanted 90 scarves, which were most the women around me. There was someone hoping to get her first one ever! Personally, if you've waited decades for something, I think treat yourself to the boutique and have a nicer time than maniacally grabbing stuff. Still so pleased with my folklore. I brought a friend and she got her first scarf also. A good day for all.

Yesterday was my 3rd Toronto H sale. 2013, 2015, and yesterday. There were so many CSGMs! more than the past sales I have attended.

in 2013 and 2015 we lined up at 5:30 a.m. and were among the first in line when the doors opened. Yesterday we attended in the early afternoon. The ticketing system worked wonderfully. We also made friends with another lady in line, which helped to pass the time.

Here is a photo of my purchases. My first giant silk twill, a CSGM that I coveted, and a gavroche for a dear friend.

I hope everyone who attended found what they were looking for!

do you guys think they pull stock from all over for the sale? i can’t imagine just canada has this much stock of CSGMs for example. considering how much stock was left at the end of the day.

So I was back in the metro convention centre area around 7pm so I thought I would go check out what's left. I walked right in as there were no line up. There were tons of the larger cashmeres scarves left, still lots of CDCs and quite a few clic clacs as well. But of course the selections weren't as great as in the morning. However, in the future, I think I will just go after work rather than in the morning as I don't think it's worth lining up for 4+ hours.

plus the best part was no limits! i’m willing to sacrifice less selection for no line. but again i didn’t want 90 cm silk so it didn’t bother me.
