I keep trying to respond to this thread but the app must be acting up. I'm biased but I LOVE my toolbox. I use it more than all my other H bags, including my B. However, I agree that the price is quite high, especially considering the resale value is significantly lower than a B or a K.

I was lucky enough to find a pre-loved toolbox in a color I love for way less than retail. I definitely suggest going the pre-loved route but only if you can find a color you love. However, if I HAD paid full price, it would have been worth every penny. With Hermes, you have to love a bag to justify the price and I definitely love my toolbox and would buy it all over again, even at full price.

what color are you looking for? probably best to go the reseller route unless you have your mind set on a specific color...

Yes you are right about loving the bag style. I love the toolbox too, more than the Kelly but not as much as my Birkin. Perhaps that is the only reason why I take issue with its price. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

The one that is now on the website... Been typing and deleting my payment info like one crazy woman, just because I still cannot get past the price issue. Gawd, I think I need to leave the world of Hermes for a while. Clear my head!

I hope you get! It's a great under the radar bag that is well designed, versatile (hand carried as well as on the shoulder) and roomy. It's not a bag that's easy to get where I live so it's just as desireable as a Birkin or a Kelly. Since getting mine, I've been carrying her to work; no one knows what it is and that's the way I prefer it. Good luck and HTH.

Thank you for your advice :) Your reasons put everything in perspective for this under this radar but very practical bag. I am going for it! Hope to post some modelling shots in the not so distant future for you ladies. Have a great weekend:D

Yay!!! You won't regret it. I love everything about the toolbox -- the versatility (you can carry it 5 different ways), the roominess, the flexibility to hand carry it or shoulder carry and the fact that it's low key and under the radar. I was debating between a toolbox and a kelly (I added to an existing thread) and am so glad I went with the TB. I posted a full review in that thread. Enjoy -- you will love it.

I completely agree with jyyanks. It's such a great bag. But think carefully about paying full price. I have learned that I would only do so if it's a color I madly love otherwise pre-loved is a great way to go.

Hi I so agree. Its a lovely bag, very easy to use and very comfortable to carry. Where I live , people know about it and the bag gets appreciative looks! Mine is 26 black Swift leather and I am so happy I got it :smile1::smile1:
