Hi! I was able to get an etain toolbox 26 recently and I have to say I am loving it! There's really so much that you can fit inside. The problem is I'm still very much interested in getting a bicolor 20 because it's just sooo cute (my bank account certainly thinks this is a problem hehe) worn with the strap, the 20 looks better than the 26 I think. Hand carried I think the 26 is nicer.

I'm not quite sure my comment will help though as it seems I'm suggesting you buy both! HAHAHAHA but good luck on your purchase! I'm sure you'll be happy with the tooldbox whichever size you choose! Don't forget to post pictures ;)

Lol. Thanks dear!

I just got my toolbox from hermes Japan but am a little puzzled with the production year stamp. I found it on the right side of the bag where you can push out to give the bag it's batwing look but the stamp seems to be not the usual P, O etc I'm familiar with. Anyone knows how the production year of the toolbox is done? Mine looks like an horseshoe or an inverted U and its not a SO. Sorry for the large photo as I'm having problem adjusting the size. Thanks for your advise

that's the atelier stamp (i have items with the same inverted u shape), not the year stamp. the year stamp should be in a square. could be on the opposite side of the bag or elsewhere or they forgot to stamp! it happens..

Chincac thanks for your advise, yes I really can't find the production stamp anywhere which makes me a little uneasy that they may have forgotten to stamp it like what you said!!! Maybe I should bring it to the Hermes store in my home country.. Somehow the bag is a little incomplete without the production year stamp no? I still have the receipt from the Hermes Shibuya Tokyu store if I actually have to show it :( I hope they can do something about...

the lack of stamp wouldn't bother me, what's important is the bag colour/leather/size.. but everyone is different. take it to the H store and see what they say, I guess the question to ask yourself is are you prepared to part with the bag for a few months if it had to be sent back to Paris just for a stamp?

Yes you are right, the stamp is pretty much interior and I would not sell my bags so I guess there is no rationale reason for being bothered by the lack of it. Well, lets see what my home store says. But really thanks for your advise! This forum is so helpful.
