Hello all toolbox lovers.... I purchased a toolbox26 as a mama bag... however I never use it as I found it is to bulky to wear on the shoulder... due to all and all price increase and the difficulties of getting bags nowadays. ..

therefore i tried to transform the bag as a backpack.... how do you think of the look of the toolbox 26 ... I tried to mix and match with my other straps before getting a matching one...

Let me know how do you think...

Great idea! Can I ask where you ordered the extra strap from? Can I have a link? Thx!

Question. is toolbox 20 heavy or light? I’m seeing two different opinions. could it be due to the type of leather, ever color versus swift ?
secondly, people also have different views on the strap. Comfortable or not ?
thank you!!

For me the TB20 is not that light in itself. I don’t have the actual bag so i can’t weigh it.

I sold mine because of the color (glycine phw) bec prefer dark color bags (it was a swap because i wanted to get rid of my B35 asap).

The short & thick strap is also not to my liking. I’m short too at 5’2”

I love it when used hand half or elbow carry though.

I love the size as well too. Fits all my valuables (cellphone, cardholder & cash).

Opening & closing the bag is a breeze as well.

Still looking for a TB20 ghw. No luck.

Hello H Toolbox lovers, I really enjoy all of your posts here. I have decided to give my gorgeous Iris Toolbox 20 more love that she deserves. Hence, I have purchased a beautiful Maitai purse insert to motivate myself and to keep her in her best shape for many years to come. As you all know Swift is soft and prone to slouch as time goes by. Keeping the purse stuffed did not do the trick and my toolbox started getting marks front and back from slouching...... With the insert in place, it really helps improve her structure overall. Wish I'd known earlier!

Picture without the purse insert. More slouching and dents.

Fits very well inside. Love it!

I have same color in 26. and the dilemma is to live with the slouch or live with the horizontal fold caused by the bag organizer . do you get a fold with the organizer ?

Hello Bag Twins~, I just got the organizer so am not sure about any horizontal fold. I personally much preferred bags with some structure So I would choose a bag organizer. The slouching causes lines and folds on the bag overtime also too.

MaiTai sadly doesn't make an insert for Toolbox 26. I don't think her inserts would make a dent as much as stiffer inserts do, though. I used a Divide & Conquer insert that was wayyy too stiff for a Swift bag, then gave up on inserts for the 26 and now use a silk pouch.

It can’t hurt to ask if she can customize one.
I do find myself drawn to the slouch of the TB26 lately rather than using an insert.

It keeps the leather inside clean and protected. Just watch for the horizontal fold, which may be more an issue with 26 because of the volume of leather slouching on it .
