Does anyone have any intel on what stock they have in the two Moscow stores at the moment.. visiting in two weeks!!

Hi! I'm from Russia but not from Moscow. All I know It's almost impossible to buy a B/K here, only for vip or "stars". But, we are in a crisis now because of euro, so the price for bags is ridiculously expensive now, I can't tell exactly but I think 30-40% higher than in Paris. So maybe nobody buying bags in Paris so they would sell to you)
And about other things, I think there is a good stock! The new store is big

I found a photos from google, when it was the opening of the new Hermes store in Moscow, it was 2009 I think, and there was shelves full of B/K and L)) Ahhh, golden times)

they have an ostrich picotin tdf in stock...
they have arranged for special delivery to my hotel since it was a quasi business trip
unfortunately we werent able to close the sale before i had to leave to meet with the group
i am so very sad about this..

I think it wasn't bad with the fx rate but you never knowHi madisonmamaw, how was prices at the Hermes store then?
I had cash on me and was given a great rate to deal with a Russian gentlemen that performs fx on the spot

You mean they have someone at Hermes that can change your money on the spot? or at the mall? quite interesting.

+1. The mall is beautiful.
I was there 3 years ago and the store was full of exotics in all sizes. Wasn't shopping for a bag then and the prices were through the roof. Interesting to see. Enjoy your trip.
There is a person at the mall that Hermes called when I told them I would like to pay by cash
Took him around 5 minutes to arrive
I must admit I love to travel with wads of cash
I know what is wrong with me
Of course IT is risky to walk around anywhere with cash it is kind of my thing
Fyi I didnt wear those travelers pouches or whatever
