Some pieces were nice, but in total, the clothes are not for me. I don’t know the statistics re: average age of women buying RTW, but I doubt they are in their twenties. This collection looked very young. Whew, Hermes saving me money!

They certainly don't seem to be designing them with 60+ post menopausal women in mind.

Agreed the color palette is very much for fall (because of the deep hues) but I'm also very excited for the red hues as I am hoping this would mean there would be many complementary red tone accessories (scarves and slg) that will be coming out to match (I have a thing for red wallets)!
Me too!! I'm always on the lookout for reds that are not orange or raspberry end of the spectrum.

I did the same. The white dress is 13,500€. Apparently it comes apart into 3 pieces and you can play around with the buttons, so you can button it all the way around, or wear it separately as a top and skirt. I also noticed that it’s a racer back. @A.Ali did your SA tell you you had to commit to purchase if you place the order? I’m not ready to commit that much money for a dress I can’t try on! Especially this type of style! (As much as I like it on the model, it could all go horribly wrong when I put it on!)

I was told by my sales associate that I have to make a commitment to purchase anything I want to order. However, I'm having a hard time deciding on some pieces as they might look better in person. Also, it's tricky to figure out the right size for new designs.

If I think that H was one of the few fashion houses to , almost, not have logos.....I mean now it's ALL a logo or designs which portray their iconic objects, like the Chaine d'Ancre, huge H, scarves and bags with the Faubourg 24 store, and all sorts of other things that scream Hermès! I know that we live in an era where people want to wear recognizable stuff and the more logos there are the better, but....NO thanks!

Re the price jumps,

last year, madison carried one black long leather skirt with some laser cut details for 12K+ USD. And 2 years ago a full length oversized cocoon of white shearling with graphic black abstract H’s for 29K. . . I think was when I bought my zip leather mini for 4K. My SA said they didn’t order many of the more expensive one —maybe just one or two— but only bc they had specific clients in mind already lined up to look at it.

looking at all the leather laser cut items this season, im guessing 18K? 22K for an elaborate dress? I showed my FSH SA my gaultier runway 2004 lamb leather multi paneled skirt with silk inserts with triple tiret closure, and she said someth8ng like that today would go for at least 14K euro. she laughed and congratulated me when I explained it was marked S (sample sale) but I got it at resale, deadstock, no signs of wear, for a tiny price.

not gonna lie. at first I thought these were one of those naughty handcuffs
