Thank you for the eye candy! Wonder if they are in the US?
I think they'll be landing any time soon. Elias is a personal friend and told me they had scheduled the general release on stores for June. In Greece, since Elias is Greek they delivered first (hence the shots) but if you ask your SA for a specific cw you might get yours earlier. Hope this helps.

Thank you for sharing - I love that. I can’t wait to see the yellow cw.

The new cotton Bord a Bord appears to be 100% cotton made in Italy. As I posted in a revived thread on cotton scarves, the cotton scarves I own are a blend of cotton and silk in both the men and women's pieces. They are all older pieces, most at least a decade old. They were also made in France. For me this would be different from what I already own. I do not know if newer cotton pieces from Hermes have been 100% cotton, or where they were produced. I feel it is a bit like comparing apples to oranges with the fabric difference. It will be interesting to start to get some reports on this in the coming months.

For me, the cotton/silk scarves seem to let wrinkles just fall out, in comparison to my silk scarves and my cotton pareos. If this is 100% cotton, yes, expect wrinkles. (But it’s cotton! You can throw it in the wash and iron it!)

ETA the Bord a Bord looks like it has a huge “border”. But the pattern itself looks lovely and the hem is great!

Sharing some shots of the dark blue Livre d'Esope 140 that recently arrived to me. I see it is still available on the US site. I love dark blue and the thematic elements of the design made me know it's a winner for me. Photos taken in a combo of indoor and outdoor, dull / dark inside and bright natural sunshine outside conditions. For those of you on the fence about this one or this colorway, I hope these shots are helpful.

The stars here are a very dark vibrant orange, almost red. I love the snail detail!

Please tell your friend I adore his designs!

Do not let fear of wrinkles keep you away from Bord a Bord! I have cotton silk blends and 100% cotton scarves from Hermes. The silk blend are very soft and flows, the cottons can be…stiff. And while they wrinkle (though not nearly as much as linen) they are a dream to iron

I wore my version today, too with the camel rump accidentally featured prominently. This cw is beautiful on you.

Thank you so much @EtsyBoss , your photos are very helpful! Congratulations on your beautiful shawl, this cw is stunning and suits you so well. I love the dark blue base and the pops of color.

It is not available in my country atm, but I wil definitely try it out when it will be.

Thank you for the intel @Setty and like @Snausages, I would appreciate your conveying my love of his work! I always get comments when I wear his 90s and where I live, Ferry Tales, always is a conversation starter!

I agree with this @FizzyWater and having just taken one cotton and a cotton pareo to a week at the beach, they are as good as new after a wash and press.

Gorgeous on you @EtsyBoss!

I am adding some mod shots of Le Livre d'Esope in cw (05). @EtsyBoss has already done it beautiful justice but on another thread we were commenting how light can change things up so I figured more for the photo library! My shots are New England northern morning natural light. I wanted to highlight the varied blues and the camel-- my favorite animal on this cw! The hem is creamy more than white and is a consideration for care. I am smitten with this design and have cw01 (my true love) but as with Orphee last season, I wanted a darker cw as well. I wear my shawls-- especially the fun and whimsical ones as a mainstay throw and go over casual clothes with my little grandchildren and I learned the hard way that on things you love, it is good to have a dark, or at least more forgiving cw than the beautiful lighter ones! Lifestyle demands...or justifications- take your pick!

How pretty @LKBNOLA. Your little grandchildren will certainly be delighted by this beautiful and whimsical shawl.

I cannot stop looking at @EtsyBoss and your photos, they are so helpfully thank you.
