I think it's silk. It looks quite light and if it were any other material, it would look far more bulky worn as a headband. My only other (unlikely) guess is that it may be a thin cotton...but then it's either a new format or a pareo (existing format). But who knows given the magic of styling and reworking photos...

My guess remains a 140 (potentially summer) silk, as it appears quite light in photos.

I have no other intel (I wish I did)...just noticed it styled with this season's clothes and - as we've seen - the design is also popping up in twillaines and other pieces. I've noticed a soft pastel CW but this black/brown (silk) shawl and the pastel clothing are all I've seen (online).

Hello Scarf Lovers!
Here are 3 scarves I picked up yesterday! I also got a BdG fleurs twilly for my blue indigo Kelly. She wanted a new outfit. Loving this season!!! My wonderful store didn’t have the Boots scarf yet, so I shall return for that when it comes in stock. Also, the surprise for me was the Picnic scarf. I had no idea it would tie this well. This wasn’t even on my radar until
