Has anyone heard about La Vallee de Cristal twillies? I’ve gotten a lot of mixed info talking to different SA’s on some recent travels. Does anyone know H’s process on which scarves also get twillies made to match and how long does this typically take? I’m dying to have some twillies to match!! (I was able to snag the green and white/black color ways!!!)

Sharing one of the 3 Precious Paradise I ordered this season. I love this design so much and choosing a colorway proved to be difficult. I ordered 2 from the website (the ones that were available at the time) and this yellow / blue / pink one as a charge-send through my SA which means it's very difficult to return if I don't like it since the boutique is an 8 hour round trip away (sniffle).

This one is a soft butter yellow like those classic wedding butter mints that seemed to be all over the 80s. I saw that this yellow colorway looked to be the ONE version of this design that wouldn't be primarily white when bias folded. Instead, it looked to be blue! Winner! I wear a lot of blue and like having it near my face. The pink I can handle too and quite like it. The butter yellow.. nope. But, it can be hidden with some knotting. The blue in it is soft. In the pictures it might be coming off more gray than it actually is. The pink is pretty vibrant in spots.

I tried this one with some bright tops and some more neutral ones as well as an oddball russet that brings out some of the animals nicely - those penguins!! I love them. The whole vibe is very much spring though I think against gray it can stretch to other seasons. I'm not sure on this one to be honest. While I absolutely adore the design, I think this one will prove to be a challenge to wear. I'm a little worried I made the wrong choice. I still have 2 more to try out (peach and grey/aqua). I'm curious what you all think.

It’s a cute scarf and I love the design too but the colourway is not as great as it could be, in my opinion. I like it best on you with the bright cobalt top for contrast. Otherwise, it’s a similar challenge I have with my aqua Chevaloscope in terms of pairing and it lacking oomph. It’s pretty, and there isn’t anything wrong with the cw but will you reach for it?

I ❤️ jungle love forever. I’m normally all about the neutrals, mainly black, so for my second H scarf it had to be colour. It’s so bold and beautiful, it’s like wearing a work of art. I like the sneaky hint of leopard.

Once the weather perks up it will inspire me to wear this navy leather jacket which was languishing at the back of my wardrobe.

Now I just need to learn to tie a scarf properly rather than just slinging it on.
I love it with this jacket!

So... the peach colorway of the Precious Paradise arrived this afternoon and at first glance it was love at first sight after an initial = oh woah that's a bit more orange than I thought = so I started pulling all of the tops that I thought would pair well with it in anticipation of doing mod shots tomorrow. One of those includes a plum top which I thought maybe will look good with the yellow / blue Paradise I showed earlier. It does as @Nomad highlighted tip lavender and it looks fab with plum! I was leaning toward returning it when I realized I have no twillies that pair with it either, but the twillies I ordered arrived today too and the first one I opened was a perfect match -- just the right amount of spring pastel yumminess. Hooray! I love it when things gel. This definitely fills a void as I have no scarves with these colors. My very picky 14yr rates my 'fits' and gave this one a 9 which is rare. She is not one to blow sunshine... lol. I wore it out to an event tonight and felt great so I think that's a win! The behapi bracelet I picked up in Paris over the summer added a fun pop of color that tied in well and my tanzanite pendant is the perfect shade to pick up the purplish blue.

Just seeing this now. Yes, it does will with the plum and cobalt tops so the contrast needs to come from there for it to sing. Adorable twilly!

for those interested, my second pick again same design, since having my colors done
it’s cw over design for me so duplicating is ok as long as the cw adds to my collection. this is unlike anything i have. very fresh apricot, almost pastel but still very vibrant. gorgeous soft autumn colors throughout. works for autumn. would look amazing on a spring too I think.

I will be honest (as always - hehe) - please don't shoot me:smile: You are a beautiful woman, but I don't think the scarf is doing you a favor:smile: It doesn't enhance your beauty as other scarves that you have modeled previously. It is bland - cute penguins or not, there is no contrast, looks kinda dull and bleak - even paired with darker tops. You are right - yellow is of odd shade (if you ask me, I would totally see you wearing bright yellow - aka Tulipomanie yellow - would be stunning with your hair color!- but not this one). Especially since you are not sure about it yourself, go ahead and return it (and don't try to talk yourself into keeping something you don't love) - regardless of charge send, you can send it back for a store credit and use it to buy something else - even later on. I am sure the SA will understand.. I have done exchanges of charge-send items from the store - just mail it in, don't have to drag yourself to the boutique:smile: They should send you a free return shipping label through Fedex - easy enough.
@EtsyBoss - I agree with @Ashanti_Rose. I like it best on the peach-colored top, but then the top is doing all the work.

Looks great. It shouldn't take more than 5 seconds to put a scarf on. Don't watch those crazy ladies on IG with the hair-ties and rubber bands and magnets and glue sticks, LOL!
Also VERY COOL navy leather jacket.

Who knows? It seems with the recent Parade en Fanfare that all the formats came out at once: twillie, gav, 90, and 100 men's whatever it was (cotton, cashmere? I don't remember).
Cristal twillie sounds awesome, though!

They have now trained us to expect a price increase every year. That wasn't the case years ago. One year there was a price decrease!!!
Next year a 90 scarf will likely be pushing $600 if not more :amazed:. But I guess that means i’ll be more picky when it comes to the designs i buy (if any).

To stay on topic, has anyone seen pics of or bought a Le cavalier à la trompette (Jan Bajtlik) 90 scarf? I haven’t seen this on the US website yet!

Thank you, Moma:) I frequently see those IG posts with origami folded scarves and wonder - why, oh why, would you do THIS to a beautiful silk scarf?? Lol

There's a lot of blank space with this design (although I like it a lot!) - I feel like you already have several scarves in these colors, though. Is this a keeper?
I agree with @momasaurus - I thought exactly the same. Very similar to other saddle scarves - and IMO the predecessors had more interesting designs and CWs…

Slinging it on works !
