Honestly I would get the red/yellow CW. The design is very cartoon-ish and I think the bubblegum colors just emphasize that. The deeper colors are more sophisticated.

ETA - I am outnumbered. Oh well, I am old.

I am younger than you, though not young any longer, but I think the same ! :drinks:

Haha the ETA made me smile in a warm way. I don’t disagree with your view of the red cw, which is why I’m not sure about returning the red - it looks more sophisticated and luxurious than the bright pink, which I’m scared looks a bit teenage bop but don’t hate. However, I really don’t like the beige in the red cw on me. I feel like it make my complexion look more yellow. So less about age and more about what each scarf brings out in me.

I was maybe a bit harsh with that poor Locomotion CSGM 🫣

I took @LKBNOLA s sound advice and tried it again against a dark jumper and I feel the shawl pops a lot more this way. I think it would look great against a navy jumper but I have none for the moment…

I am still returning it but thought I’ll show these photos in case anyone is interested in this cw…

I like it more, but I’m still not wowed.

Funny Ice Cream twilly just arrived and it is absolutely delightful! I went for cw 09 Bleu Ciel/Rose Bonbon/Jaune and the colours are lovely - proper rich pastels and not washed out like so many of the other pale colours this season.
Photos taken in natural afternoon light.

Twilly format seems ideal for this playful design as would last year’s Chevaloscope.
The two Animapolis 140 cws I ordered have arrived:
cw 05 Bubble Gum/Bleu/Jaune &
cw 06 Rouge/Beige Dore/Blanc

Please help me decide which to keep. Apologies for the poor photos and pallid complexion. I’m still unwell with Covid and in pyjamas and can’t face changing clothes.

It is true that I’m extra pale right now and I have more of a golden undertone in the summer but even so I think the cw06 (red) is too warm on me and doesn’t look right. I’m gravitating towards 05 (pink) because I love the turquoise on this, and the bubble gum pink is not the washed out pastel pink I was dreading but vibrant enough to enhance the rosiness in my cheeks, which I think is more youthful on me.

However, I’m keen to hear your opinions as perspective is everything. Thanks :flowers:

Edit: I love this design. I can’t stop discovering new little details.
I think the red enhances your lovely dark hair and the turquoise is an ideal foil for your lovely skin. I say BOTH!

No, you are not! I also agree with you - deeper color look classy with cartoons going on and provide a bit more contrast, pink is kinda "barbie thing" a little.

I don't think it is worth the $$, regardless.

Ooooh! Real modshot of the Brides de gala! Do you find styling a bit hard given that the black border is thick?
I have not purchased Bride de gala but from trying in a boutique - it looks very elegant. My SA mentioned it would look stunning worn to some formal event with all black outfit. I think it has little more serious and classic vibe for sure.

Definitely. I am not interested in the design, so haven't been following the various CWs. Are there other CWs under consideration?

I love these colors, though. Do we know the "color family"?

Some intel on paradis in the kaki cw. i think it probably works best for autumns and springs. the green is neutral-warm. there is a lot of this peachy corally color that you see in the elephant. the yellow is a pretty saturated mustard in some part and the red is the showstopper, gorgeous geranium red with just the slightest leaning towards, pink, it looks wonderful on true red though.
like others noted in bias it turnes into a white base scarf although the white is actually oyster. not warm enough for cream but definitely more on the warm side. it’s a very fresh colorway all in all.
That’s very helpful thank you. I like this on line, especially the red but it really isn’t going to work for my winter skin
