You look great, but I bet the green would also be a good choice for you. Maybe the Hermès Locomotion has too much white.

Couple of pictures from today's visit to boutique. I loved the Precious Paradise in green, but still went ahead and ordered Blue Jean color, as it seems so colorful and happy! The second picture is a shawl - very pretty , but did not come home with me. And finally Brides de gala is so elegant and classic! Thinking about it. The goal is to get as many as I can before the price increase!

I just got the Precious paradise in green and Brides de gala few days ago! Both were so beautiful that I couldn’t pass up before the price increase 🤣

Please help me decide which to keep. Apologies for the poor photos and pallid complexion. I’m still unwell with Covid and in pyjamas and can’t face changing clothes.

It is true that I’m extra pale right now and I have more of a golden undertone in the summer but even so I think the cw06 (red) is too warm on me and doesn’t look right. I’m gravitating towards 05 (pink) because I love the turquoise on this, and the bubble gum pink is not the washed out pastel pink I was dreading but vibrant enough to enhance the rosiness in my cheeks, which I think is more youthful on me.

However, I’m keen to hear your opinions as perspective is everything. Thanks

I am on board with the pink for you. I have seen some of your reds and they are fabulous, but this one is less flattering than the aqua/pink. This pink has a very bright and lovely undertone without being too pastel or the dreaded pepto bismol. I definitely think cw05 is your colorway! I hope you all are recovering well. My DD's household went through this earlier...You have my sympathy.

Thank you for the reminder on this. I had searched the thread for other posts on this shawl with the scarf name but I think spelling differences complicated things.

I found @CedarWaxWing ’s post here. Now however I’m very confused. Her cw is listed as cw04 and that it is the same color as @LKBNOLA ‘s but it really looks different to me.

And here is Cedar’s flat shot, vs the flat shot that the Finland site currently has, which they also list as cw04.

Not sure what’s going on - I can’t see how these are the same. The Finland website listing is clearly not yellow, and it also has some red or burgundy in it.

That's a toughie GloWW0rM. I love the red portions of the red one. But dislike that there is so little color variation on that one.

Love the little multicolored monster on the pink one, and the wider variety of colors. I do think you could carry both, because of your dark hair. If they'd used just a couple more variations of bright color on the red, I'd like that better. But I like the color variations on the pink and blue better.

Hey there - no understood - I was mostly trying to clarify that your shawl from last season and the website listing for Tattouages (this season) are both described as Marine Clair. And that the cw of both of the website photos seem to match *your* mod shots.

The one that seems to be different is the one that Cedar shared, so I was curious if the tag of hers says Marine Clair. Essentially, it seems to me that there are different blues going on, possibly with the same color name being used by H. But who knows… my impression from all the past season thread reading is that H can be inconsistent from time to time so maybe it’s just another one of those cases.

Ooooh! Real modshot of the Brides de gala! Do you find styling a bit hard given that the black border is thick?

Everyone sees color so differently. They both look nice on you but I much prefer the reds. It’s a very interesting, sophisticated combination of shades and contrasting colors. I’ve never been a fan of light pink and light blue combos. Not sure why but I don’t find it appealing and I just think it has a cheap look to it.

Both are glorious! I do agree that the pink makes you glow, while the red steals the spotlight away from you. So I would vote for pink. Either way, they are beautiful CWs!

Hello Dear @Jereni,

Here is a photo of the paper tag for Tatouages Marins. As I mentioned in my earlier post, it is a bright navy, with light beige (not yellow) and warm white, not cream. My phone camera brightened up the blue a bit more than it is naturally, but it is not as dark as the H.com photo. It is what I call a bright navy. I’ve already worn it about 5 times and love it. Originally I was somewhat dubious, but am now absolutely thrilled with it. It’s a true grab-and-go delight. I’ll try to post
some additional photos tomorrow for you.

The pink really suits you well! But the red, with its hints of pink, seems to change depending on how you tie it and the lighting in your photos. It looks quite different in person, doesn’t it?

By the way, has anyone tried out the green yet? I think it could be a charming option worth considering.

Thanks everyone, really interesting food for thought. I’ll wait to see the green in person and then make a decision - that hasn’t been available here yet although surely not another green Because let’s face it, I kid myself that Jungle Love Forever is navy but really it’s half green… see mod shots below
