Thank you so much for taking the time to post your scarves which you model brilliantly. It is so helpful to see them reveal themselves in the various folds. Yes, this blue c/w did grab me mainly because I am very partial to green & blue together and my scarf drawer contains & conceals many variations on the theme!! Looking at your pics the dark blue sections look very dark and the white window perhaps a bit stark for total scarf happiness. Whereas the softer, paler versions harmonise better, but I can’t wear those. I have almost ruled out all the other 90 designs now, as Precious Paradise is showing too much of the light background for me when folded in my preferred bias fold. I should like to see the other c/w of Le Cavalier a la Trompette (if the UK ever catches up with the rest of the world) otherwise sadly a zero scarf season for me!
My pleasure @Hanton. I too love blue and green together and apart from concerns of "too many" your reservations on this cw were mine exactly. There is a dark/stark feeling to the cw. This hasn't been an easy season as so many designs seem "homogenized" by pale centers that make the bias fold knots look the same...

Thank you as always for all the photos @SilkCouture. I agree with @Ashanti_Rose that you can wear anything at all. Congratulations on a great haul this season! Are you keeping both of the Precious Paradise cws? The blue is very charming on you.

No mod shots yet from my cutie GSD (I will Have to comfortable with H silk on her 😆) but my Les Chiens arrived just now! Posted the non-dachshund side so those of us with bigger dogs could see all the dogs we love dearly (and there’s one tiny cat there too). The tag is in one pic. I love these twillys!!

Mystere au 24 in Camel/Vert/Blanc, CW08 appeared among yesterday's Christmas presents. The scarf is family approved, and is a keeper.

Here are a few more knots with my Mystere au 24, CW08. As requested by @Dinhky.

Bias fold with a twist to show off the blue animals in this colorway.

Dear @LKBNOLA,
Thank you so much! All the selections you made are absolutely gorgeous! You have such a great eye for style.

I’ve decided to keep both of the Precious Paradise colorways. I’m really charmed by their colors and designs – they have such a sweet look.

However, I’m planning to return the Mystere au 24 in Orange, because of the similarity with the Della Cavalleria. I already have it in camel, which I adore, and I’m quite taken with your navy version. So, I’m thinking of exchanging my orange one for the navy. I’m equally fond of this design.

Also, I’m excited to add the GT Bouclerie Moderne en Casaque in green to my collection as @momasaurus suggested. I realized I don’t have any scarves in this color in my CSGM range, and it’ll be a great addition.

Thank you as always for all the photos @SilkCouture. I agree with @Ashanti_Rose that you can wear anything at all. Congratulations on a great haul this season! Are you keeping both of the Precious Paradise cws? The blue is very charming on you.

Thank you @Ashanti_Rose, @monteverdi and @LKBNOLA for your sweet, sweet words 😘😘😘
How lovely your smile is ! You look radiant !
You are beautiful, SilkCouture, and the mod shots are superb! The scarves are all lovely - but anything - anything - will look good on you!

Interesting - thanks for this info. How do you compare the new "forever" Jungle Love with the original?
I think that the 2024 is a close but grayer/duller recolonization of the original ca 2000 cw.
But the 2000 cw was indecisive- navy in border is a bit off, the field color could not decide if it was light blue or teal ish - it is now blue gray, and the flowers of the ca 2000 cws were not not bright as in 2008. Not a cw I would choose to reproduce as iconic.

SPOILER ALERT - you may not be able to unsee the stripes…
The fur and leopard spots are now very striped for lack of better word, the spots have been rendered with almost vertical brush marks - as if the fur were wet ??? And lots more brush marks on the beige part of fur.
Much more brush marks than in the original. I don’t like the new spots, I can’t unsee the stripes that look like drip marks. That is comparing the 2023 and 2000 versions of the purportedly same CW.

Good morning everyone. One side benefit of being housebound with a virus is that you can play with your new scarves! Here are my selections for SS24 (excluding Hermes Flagship, which is in the Gift Vault). In spring and summer, I wear mostly grey, light blue, very pale pink, light camel, faded denim and tons of white. I anticipate that each of these will be great with all those colors and of course, Mystere in this cw will pair beautifully with black, too. I am also pleased because these colors are not over-represented at all in my closet and I think they are eye catching as well. As for Boubleries, I know the GT format and recent design offerings have been frustrating but for me, living in a beach community that is pretty informal, the bright blue triangle with its slightly nautical feel is a really good choice.
Precious Paradise cw 01
Diagonal Fold and Bias Fold and below an actual knot-- it is a shame to let a hem like this go to waste so an Edot Knot is perfect to showcase it-- as would many others...

Here is my selection of Mystere au 24 (07) mastic/rose poudre/gris bleute. This scarf is a lot of fun to play with -- trying to show the various elements: the running dogs, the fox, the bookcase, the black(?!) cat and the phone off the hook... It looks especially pretty in the bib knots and this cowl knot, I think...

Thank you for letting me share. I hope my choices can help some others on their way to the season!
I absolutely love your choices. The red accents in Precious Paradise are very compelling and it suits you so. I can see it get a lot of wear year round. Mystère is also beautiful in its cool, subdued colors. And the triangle is also great for a casual coastal community. Congratulations!

This is amazing info. Thank you so much. I have a chance to purchase the original and i am going to go for it. You are the best!

Exactly. I was about to write - "Don't forget the secondary market for these classic designs." Honestly, H should price these "forever" things at the prices they were initially LOLOL
I find the scarves for secondary sale online so overpriced. Some are close to or above retail. I must not be looking in the right sites!

if I can’t unsee the stripes, my wallet will thank you. I was considering this design for myself!

Hi, @marietouchet and thank you for this info. Would it be possible for you to post side by side photos? I am having trouble visualizing what exactly you mean. I can see that the colors might be a little different in the Forever but I have it and must confess I am thrilled with it -- to me it is beautiful but perhaps I just am too inexperienced to know what I don't know! A side by side would be so helpful.... I know a lot of us have fallen for this particular Forever reissue, well, let me amend to say that at least I have! I was not aware that Hermes was altering the designs given the description of the Forever capsule that they provide... Editing to add the website description:
"The forever scarves are heritage scarves, authentic and alive, that honor the original design in a unique and emblematic color. Neither reworked nor redesigned, they are presented in all their simplicity, true to the original drawing of the artist."

Got a chance to try on some of the new season pieces today at the boutique. They did not have many colorways of Precious Paradise or Flagship but I’m less interested in those two anyway.

I tried the ivory Harnais but as expected, I don’t think it’s my color.
View attachment 5919286

I did like the navy blue one. Super wearable colors. I just feel a little silly given that I have the dark blue Pantin City, the dark blue Parade en Fanfare, and Hermes Story in the blue and marron glacé. I’m going to ruminate on this a bit. Curious as to folks’ thoughts.

They also had the Mystere Au 24 in several colorways. I wanted to love the cw that @Redbirdhermes got, but it is too much caramel / tan for me. This is cw 07 with the rose poudre but I am going to do no one any favors here bc the boutique lights wash this one out something fierce. Thank goodness for @jenlee8751 ’s much better pics just above. I think I am going to have to go back and try it on with a better outfit or… something.

Oh wow, you choose beautiful pieces @LKBNOLA! The scarves are so elegant with your ivory jumper. I love the design and radiant red hem of Precious Paradise. I am definitely trying this design in multiple cw. Both Mystère are really beautiful too, but the grid/rose poudre really shines. And finally your Triangle screams sea and summer for me 😍

Thank you for sharing these, your mod shots are always very useful!

Thank you both @LKBNOLA and @SilkCouture so much for sharing your mod shots of Precious Paradise. Those are 2 of the 4 colors I'm weighing, and the twilly too. I love this design so much but am struggling to find the one or maybe two that I will love in the 90.

I know the blue is safe (tons of blue in my collection) but for some reason it feels less punchy than the sage / red one which was love at first sight when I saw the first glimpse of it early this season. The colors look absolutely gorgeous on you @LKBNOLA! Often we seem to gravitate to the same colors. I'm not sure I can pull that one off though... I rarely ever wear white. Not sure what other colors that one will work with. Red.. brown.. oatmeal.. dark rose maybe?! On the fence.

@LKBNOLA, your new Mystere is the exact colorway that grabbed my attention and I am so pleased to see your styling - it looks as perfect as I hoped! That one is definitely on my list. I especially love how the floor looks in that version -- superb!

Thank you both again!
