I agree with you that the ivory just doesn’t have enough contrast to pop, but the navy certainly does! I love so many aspects of on you that I’m now considering this design. I think, if you love something - get it. So what if you have similar cws? I have so many green scarves by now that it’s a running joke at home, but that’s what suits me. This is fantastic on you and I hope it will follow you some soon!

Thanks so much!!! Glad it was a helpful photo and I think it would look great on you. I do think this is an A+ design, and my favorite of the season by far. The borders are soooo good. My SA called it a very ‘romantic’ scarf and I think I agree.

Good morning everyone. One side benefit of being housebound with a virus is that you can play with your new scarves! Here are my selections for SS24 (excluding Hermes Flagship, which is in the Gift Vault). In spring and summer, I wear mostly grey, light blue, very pale pink, light camel, faded denim and tons of white. I anticipate that each of these will be great with all those colors and of course, Mystere in this cw will pair beautifully with black, too. I am also pleased because these colors are not over-represented at all in my closet and I think they are eye catching as well. As for Boubleries, I know the GT format and recent design offerings have been frustrating but for me, living in a beach community that is pretty informal, the bright blue triangle with its slightly nautical feel is a really good choice.

Diagonal Fold and Bias Fold and below an actual knot-- it is a shame to let a hem like this go to waste so an Edot Knot is perfect to showcase it-- as would many others...

Here is my selection of Mystere au 24 (07) mastic/rose poudre/gris bleute. This scarf is a lot of fun to play with -- trying to show the various elements: the running dogs, the fox, the bookcase, the black(?!) cat and the phone off the hook... It looks especially pretty in the bib knots and this cowl knot, I think...

And finally, the GT Bouclerie Moderne en Casaque in the cw 01 caban/orange/vert. This has also been sequestered to the Gift Vault :winkiss:

And for the color nerds among us, here is a photo of three scarves all called khaki: Lazy Leopardesses, L'Intrus and Precious Paradise. Phew! I think I can safely say I have no color/design duplicates among these!

Thank you for letting me share. I hope my choices can help some others on their way to the season!

My first step when considering a scarf is to match it up to collex for similarities in colors or even same “feels”. Like you have above. Then ask yourself if you could ccp one of those Love-Loves in collex. If not then you have your answer. Then next I give myself the space to not buy “in season” from H, but find later on resale if I still think about it. That is if it’s not a potential grail.
I do love the blue harnais in design, and on you. The heart border going down is chefs kiss. And the rope on the other side, and those gold hearts poppin off the blue. But even with my compliments, l won’t get it for myself because I don’t wear dark ones enough and collex too big w too many older designs I love more. And for me and my closet, I won’t wear it enough. I’ll know it’s true love if I look forward to buying new closet items for it  .

I find the softer colors of mystere can lack the drama and pop that I love about our silks, but remind myself they can still be oh-so-lovely on. I call them my soft feminine pieces. And this is just such a lovely soft piece and also looks great on you. I love the silver railing in this one.

The agony of picking which ones right!? Good luck choosing what to buy/keep this season. Cant wait to see what you settle on!
For me I have none to get this season. Not even the amazing JL. I have an older JL colorway I like better and has a bit brighter center that suits me better. Andddddd Still waiting for my Colibri to pop up online :girlsigh:
edit- love what Hanton said. It’s true, it is wearable for you!! And a great addition. But I’ll add (Given I have 30+ scarves to sell haha): Ask yourself what is your max number for dark blue scarves that work for your closet? Or of any color family? H seems to be regurgitating color families and same colors and it has had me relook at colors big time.
I now have 5 soft pink scarves and have to stop. So robe legere in pink didn’t get added. I can’t own them all right ;)
This is so thoughtful and comprhensive that I bookmarked it to study @Nomad!
This is true. I only picked this classic design up because of the blip in pricing they temporarily had for the new Forever silks (woohoo!!) and was pleaantly surprised by how pretty it is in person.
Exactly. I was about to write - "Don't forget the secondary market for these classic designs." Honestly, H should price these "forever" things at the prices they were initially LOLOL
Just wanted to weigh in on this discussion. As someone who began collecting a bit later in life (to put it kindly) I am grateful for the Forever reissues and I jumped on two this season as soon as I saw the price "glitch" online as many of us did. I know the designs can be readily found in the secondary market but last year's Grand Apparat was so beautifully done and this year the Jungle Love and Brides de Gala also. I am looking at Couvertures too even though I have a one in the most stunning aqua dip dye! Incidentally, the Forever scarves appeared on TRR and other resellers almost immediately post issue and often at far less than the H.com price. I acquired Coaching Forever new with tags and box for under 325$ last year. It is smart to know your colorways when looking for bargains out there! Also adding my compliment to @yuzulife for her spectacular knots.

Does anyone have shots or mod shots of Couvertures et Tenues du Jour forever scarf? It looks great but not sure how it will tie.
I tried this one in store recently, but didn’t take mod shots (my local boutique doesn’t allow photos).
It ties much better than I thought it would. The background is a buttery cream, balanced by lots of good contrast with deep colours in a cooler spectrum: blues and greens and mahogany. One of the horses on the lower row has a matte overlay on his dress, which is a nice detail. Tied, it has a very classic H feel, structured but with a fair amount of the background field showing. I usually steer away from cream, but it was very pretty. It didn’t come home with me, but hopefully someone has some pictures they can share!

absolutely stunning on you! your choices suit you so well. I’m still hopeful that this green works for me but I fear it lives a bit on the cool side, perfect for a soft autumn or summer. le sigh

And here, for @Hanton, is Mystere au 24 in the fabulous blue/green cw03. This was so tempting but a bit duplicative of my green Brandebourgs and my DH has me on a Blue Ban Island for 90s so...Or rather, I exiled myself but did so out loud and in public so now he is watching...

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your scarves which you model brilliantly. It is so helpful to see them reveal themselves in the various folds. Yes, this blue c/w did grab me mainly because I am very partial to green & blue together and my scarf drawer contains & conceals many variations on the theme!! Looking at your pics the dark blue sections look very dark and the white window perhaps a bit stark for total scarf happiness. Whereas the softer, paler versions harmonise better, but I can’t wear those. I have almost ruled out all the other 90 designs now, as Precious Paradise is showing too much of the light background for me when folded in my preferred bias fold. I should like to see the other c/w of Le Cavalier a la Trompette (if the UK ever catches up with the rest of the world) otherwise sadly a zero scarf season for me!
