I’m just copying and pasting @redheaddem’s wonderfully kind listing of this season’s scarves, so the list can be carried forward and we don’t have to hunt for so long for it.

Outside of Jungle Love and Animapolis (with a possible side of Robe Legere), there hasn't been much that's tempted me this season, but if this is true my wallet is in serious trouble!! I love all things big cat, but "missed" this one since I only started collecting in earnest in early 2022.
RL in silk 140 is so pretty IRL

Yes indeed - we all have our free associations!! Was the song related to roosters? One of my dearest friends from Argentina danced Argentine Tango for decades, and wrote the official book about the dance and the history of tango and it’s earliest roots, the book is in the equivalent of the library of Congress in Argentina. I LOVE your free association to this rooster scarf - and how fun to learn you dance tango! I like your free association better!!
It starts with a rooster crowing (cut off in the video) and a few more rooster crows in the song. My Spanish is not great and my Argentine Spanish understanding is worse but I can certainly make out gallo nuevo (new rooster). Whether they mean a person or a real rooster I couldn’t say tho.

Funnily enough it’s actually the Cocoricoooo that does it, as that ( in my head) sounds just like the rooster crows in the song. I only wish the scarf had some brighter colorways than it will be coming in, but I’ll find something to fit, I’m sure …

(PS- I may know your friend and if he has taught in the US I have probably danced with him.)

The rooster has a Theodore Steinlein lithograph from 19850s kind of vibe, he was big on cats. I forgive the COCORICO - French for cock a doodle doo - since it looks like plain ovals and less goofy , unless you know what the term means
I absolutely love Steinlen. His cats are masterpieces and the rooster scarf is pretty. Not sure if it’s luring me.

Do you mean Théophile Steinlein?
(In this case, an exhibition is to be seen these days at the musée de Montmartre.)

Does anyone have modshots of the brides de gala forever to share? I usually love thick borders, but this one might look a bit too thick? I just moved to Portland, and am only buying remotely so it feels a lot harder to judge.

I dont normally go for leopard prints, but I think jungle love looks great.

I was in love with the flagship, but I'm not sure of any of the cws and the busy designs.

I have 2 cws of the Robe Legere (90s from previous season), but i do agree theres too much blank space, i cant imagine thats not the case with 140s.

I usually get 5+ scarves (90s) every season, but this might be the season where I feel a bit stoic about all the designs and cws. Not really in love with any of the csgms either. Ugh.

I'm also thinking about forever BdG and meant to go in this week to but in the end I did a remote appointment. I didn't chance the BdG.

The border is wide. If you wear with black you won't see it at all, it'll just look like a small scarf (sometimes useful) but it if you wear with a white shirt (or tee) it'll look dramatic. Folded on the bias, you'll have strong black points (if left front) which could be useful. Altogether, it's an unapologetic formal cw. I can't wait to see it actually.

My worry is that the 'crème' is too cream. There's a video of a beautiful model wearing it in the US h.com, but she is the perfect model for the cw so not that useful, it does give me hope that the 'crème' is more off-white than a 'top of the milk' cream though.
