It’s so funny, every year during the early season many of us chime in with what we don’t like and what we do like and colorways, and then we end up being surprised, most seasons! Unfortunately for me nothing yet will tempt me.

I cannot help it - but with this design all it does is bring back memories from a goofy “country” vibe in the 1980’s in the US where everything decor was roosters, ducks, and geese! Cookie jars, curtains, canisters, rugs, wallpaper, you name it, they countrified it. (nary a bird piece in my home though!). Oh my goodness, I absolutely deplored that stuff, don’t even know why it ever was a thing. Perhaps it was designed to go with the big hair of the 80s 🤣I don’t even know whether to call it home decor, but yikes. I often like men’s 100s and this doesn’t look like the stuff from the 80’s but once seen it’s hard to unsee. But…I know some of you will rock this, I shall not be crowing over anything yet.

And for those of you talking color ways, that are cool winters, I am with you. There are so many different colors and scarves from H, and when I find a fabulous, vibrant scarf that goes well with my coloring it seems like there is this brown color that looks suspiciously like something in a … 😆😆😆 I’m not sure if anyone looks good in that color of brown, but I know for sure it is not me. However, I first started collecting scarves in 2013 and I have been thrilled at some of the changes that have made over that period of time. I know many here are quite disappointed at the direction H has been going lately, but like many other things, change is constant and my guess is new things will appear that better suit. I am tempted by Animapolis, but the huge silk is hard for me to wear and with 3 cw’s already with me from the original issue I’m abstaining (from that).

Of course everything isn’t out yet, so I’m just going to patiently watch and I always find something. Which is a different kind of problem! And regardless of whether a particular scarf is my vibe or not, I love seeing the scarves and artist’s work that everyone loves on them - because they make you look beautiful!! Happy Holidays all!!

AH well. We will all make different connections. For me, this scarf is always going to remind me of my favorite Milonga song and I will have to have it to remind me of the 15 years spent dancing Argentine Tango and it's related dances Milonga and Vals. :D

The rooster has a Theodore Steinlein lithograph from 19850s kind of vibe, he was big on cats. I forgive the COCORICO - French for cock a doodle doo - since it looks like plain ovals and less goofy , unless you know what the term means

Right—when it’s tied the ooooo just look like weird circles. I like the scarf, but not any of the knots we’ve seen.

Yes indeed - we all have our free associations!! Was the song related to roosters? One of my dearest friends from Argentina danced Argentine Tango for decades, and wrote the official book about the dance and the history of tango and it’s earliest roots, the book is in the equivalent of the library of Congress in Argentina. I LOVE your free association to this rooster scarf - and how fun to learn you dance tango! I like your free association better!!

Many thanks, it is really helpful to see the scale of the design properly as everything looks tiny on the small website pic! It flows very nicely.

I really like that, thanks for posting
Thank you @Hanton and @midlands-lass. I always appreciate everyone's mod shots, so I angled this is useful.

Looks beautiful! Somehow it reminds me of Ferragamo scarves, no?
Thank you @Ashanti_Rose. I can see what you mean re: Ferragamo!

I exchange my Harnais for this one yesterday I think it’s adorable in person!!
The blue one is also very, very cute!!
Glad to be your twin, @Silk_couture, it's very pretty. I think the blue is really lovely, too.

I like this in a vacuum but I'm trying to figure out what color tops I'd pair it with.
I was a little stomped, too, @labelo, because this is really different from my usual colors. Khaki usually does not work on me, but in this combination it does. Maybe because of the level of contrast, or the other colors balancing things out. I liked it with chocolate and pink.

Sharing the Jungle Love in Hermes Royal Hawaiian on display and it came home with me!!! According to my SA, it will come in so many color ways.... however the store only orders the Marine/Vert 29
Outside of Jungle Love and Animapolis (with a possible side of Robe Legere), there hasn't been much that's tempted me this season, but if this is true my wallet is in serious trouble!! I love all things big cat, but "missed" this one since I only started collecting in earnest in early 2022.
