[TRUE LOVER'S KNOT]

I like the golden beige/red/bright yellow Precious Paradise. With my luck it won't come to the US h.com. I never did get Katie Scott's Lanternes because none of the colorways appealed to me. The critters on Precious Paradise look like the creatures of the lanterns have been transplanted into the fountains. Glad I waited because I think this up-down orientation could be interesting.

Loving this colourway and graphic story. However, I'm not sure about the yellow contrasting hem. I prefer when the hem blends in with the border colour.

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to update that I was one of the "pouncers" who scored the Forever scarves at the listed prices below current retail. Today I received Jungle Love and Brides de Gala-- both exactly as usual with this year's Christmas overbox but interestingly no paper retail tag on either one. They are stunning. So happy to have had the chance to add these icons to my collex! Thank you to all who kept the thread up to date.
Love the detail, the classic clean lines and the fact the gold is a muted not brassy color...Super excited to pair this with my new permabrass BdG scarf ring!

Now that I’ve seen it, I think this Harnais might work the best on me, but I’m not particularly inspired either so we’ll see.



I really like the way this one ties in this particular photo but I kinda dislike the design in principle so … who knows.

Amazing! Now that is what I am talking about with color on jl! This is what makes H H. I am also so happy you got the lower price before they figured it out perhaps. No idea what’s going on and if they will reappear at today’s prices or not.

This!!! This is what happens to me too. I wait for modeling shots of new designs ( if it’s not instant love and knowing 100% I’ll love it) and in the meantime I find an older design on eBay and buy it. Then feel like I have spent my acceptable amount of $ on scarves for the time and rarely go pounce on the new one hahah. Aghhh It’s a tricky game

I hear you.. I am trying not to buy anymore of 90s (especially at full retail) as I barely wear them (twice a year or so) whereas CSGM are worn on a daily basis - even at home, so my cost per wear on cashmere is very low, while silks are sitting in boxes. I don’t like JL design in particular but this CW is gorgeous (yep!) so I was tempted (very!) but then the rational part of my brain decided to put the same $$ into CSGM which will get some “traction” and see the light)) - rather than sitting in the box as what my 90s are mostly doing

Having said that, I might still buy a 90 if it is a grail 😂😂

I hear you.. Exactly. Not attached to care tag. @rmsworld. One time that this happened I called customer service because I wanted to return it and they were quite surprised. My other Forever scarves from last season did have the paper tag.

Why don’t you look at the resale market? There were so many superb designs in cashmere 140 issued in the past; I frankly don’t understand why to buy something mediocre from current collection at these inflated prices. Unless you just want to buy from boutiques for authenticity considerations? (I would understand that)

All of these would be spectacular @redheaddem but I can't figure out that Coaching Deja-Vu either! When you say one of each color family are you meaning, navy, caramel and red? I think the red Animapolis as you have Robe Legere in a beautiful 90, Jungle Love and Precious Paradise which gets you the lovely caramel color, a wonderful design and a bonus yellow hem! Since you love cashmere you can add the Arc-en-Ciel too with its great colors and wonderful hem. Do you have a GT? Anyway, just adding my thoughts to the mix. You have chosen options that would really complement your collection.

Authenticity is a consideration, but my problem seems to be that I do not find anything at reasonable prices. Everything seems to be offered (well) above retail? At least in Europe?

Beautiful @Jereni. There is as you note a lot of overlap so I can't wait to see mod shots of them on you -- I suspect that will determine your choices.

Well, I have purchased the two Forever pieces, and the Hermes Flagship in pale blue. I will try Mystere au 24 in the store in various cws because I like a black cat option and it reminds me of a favorite childhood game. Then we shall see. I like our Brides et Destin from two seasons ago better than the Harnais de Coueur, so...I did get the Chiens Parisien twilly and I'd like to see the Arc-en-Ciel and Flamingo Party Coloriage GTs in person. I totally blanked that we are Bal de Soie sisters @redheaddem! Love that one so much.

My first thought about Coaching Deja-Vu is that it is a puzzle scarf. I immediately want to start rearranging the tiny squares to straighten out the design. However, it is a bit too dizzy for me. The simpler Voitures Exquises puzzle scarf is more my speed.
