I believe it's truly a cream shade, possibly too pale for your complexion, and might not be suitable in that regard. You might want to try it first to see how it looks on your skin.
I'm planning to return mine. 🤪

Haha, truth. And now having seen more of the colors, I’m sad.

Aquamarines and teals popping up in a cw is like my favorite thing ever. Although, from what I’m seeing, the pops are a little too minimal.

Ah thank you for this, it’s super helpful. I’ve been very curious about this but I think the cream is going to be too yellow for my skin tone, which is a bummer. It’s gorgeous on you tho!

Do you confirm it's dip-dyed? I'm really fond of this classical design but didn't like the colorways of the previous season.
The blue one looks beautiful, but I don't own any dip-dyed scarf so I have a question: could you, or anyone, tell me the difference it makes in terms of effect or texture, etc.?
Edit to add that the corail/marine looks nice too, but from the picture I can't be sure of the shade : corail/orange which I don't like, or corail/red...

I have dip dye shawl in winter twill and the fabric is almost bullet proof. I would suspect vintage dip dye would have a different feel..

Hi Frenchcoco!
I have a 90cm dip dye and it has a softer, drapier feel. Very similar to the wash scarves. It's my understanding that "vintage" just refers to the fact that it is a 70 cm, which was to commemorate 70 years of Hermes scarf production from the 1930's. The 70 cm vintage scarf was first produced in 2007? Someone correct me on the date of the first Hermes scarf. Was is 1937? eeek! I should know this!

Hi, everyone! Just wanted to update that I was one of the "pouncers" who scored the Forever scarves at the listed prices below current retail. Today I received Jungle Love and Brides de Gala-- both exactly as usual with this year's Christmas overbox but interestingly no paper retail tag on either one. They are stunning. So happy to have had the chance to add these icons to my collex! Thank you to all who kept the thread up to date.
Love the detail, the classic clean lines and the fact the gold is a muted not brassy color...Super excited to pair this with my new permabrass BdG scarf ring!

For this beauty, I am simply at a loss for words. The coloration is amazing.

I can't wait to see these on you! I know, for a fact, that you will look so beautiful in these!!! Woo hooo to the old price. How I miss those days when a 90cm was priced in the upper 300 dollar range!

Hi Ladybaga,
Then I know what you mean by "softer feel" because my " Sous l'Egide de Mars" is a wash scarf. As regards the first year 70cm scarves were issued, I'm afraid I can't help you!

Amazing! Now that is what I am talking about with color on jl! This is what makes H H. I am also so happy you got the lower price before they figured it out perhaps. No idea what’s going on and if they will reappear at today’s prices or not.

This!!! This is what happens to me too. I wait for modeling shots of new designs ( if it’s not instant love and knowing 100% I’ll love it) and in the meantime I find an older design on eBay and buy it. Then feel like I have spent my acceptable amount of $ on scarves for the time and rarely go pounce on the new one hahah. Aghhh It’s a tricky game
