My first double face and she's a beauty! I love both sides. Le Jardin des Peintres in CW5. Another winner for me. The bright colors remind me of a Warhol and the soft side colorway is very calming. I am thrilled with this one as well. Now waiting on Tea for Two in red/black and deciding on a few more. I may have to quit this season in the first week of January! :yahoo:  :girlsigh:

WOW! I just saw this one after I typed my last comment about your Costume scarf. You picked another winner!
Both look gorgeous with your hair!

Including this not yet seen until now colorway of the Annie Faivre double face, it is STUNNING!
I've put in my request for one even though I already have the pale blue.

OMG this is wonderful!!:flowers:

I am not keeping this but thought I would post some mod shots of Costume de Fete cw 05-- the black/cream neutral one. Beautiful border on this one but a lot of cream in the center field!

I love the details on this design but am not a great knotter so I worry about the middle swath of empty space. Will be easy to tie away? :flowers:

Here are mod shots for Le Carnaval des Animaux, CW09, bleu jean/vert/beige.

I also posted these mod shots in the Scarf of the Day thread. I find that this colorway has a lot of dark tones and pairs well with my winter wardrobe.

A scarf that works with so many tops and necklaces is definitely a winner.
Definitely a winner, RBH. Quite lovely!

HERMÈS:-Shame on you-
I'm of two minds right now- happy that HERMÈS just dropped many new S/S 2023 scarves all at once online (after virtually no 90cm's since last August).....but very unhappy with 'Tea for Two'.

Is it a great design, and are PurseForum followers going nuts over the best cw (the black/red)- YES! Did Burton, or HERMÈS, ever consider giving credit where credit's due for TEA's design?- NO! It's a blatant ripoff of the amazing contraptions created by Rube Goldberg, whose first 'machine' was published in 1914.

The least that HERMÈS could have done was to call Burton's design 'an homage to the whimsical work of Rube Goldburg', but they didn't....crickets.

Anyway, I've already emailed them, but, as usual, I expect no reply.

Oh well... HAPPY NEW YEAR! ;)
I think you’ll love hearing that Burton did give credit (below).

As someone who describes in print the work of others, I wonder how much influence the artist has over what is on the Hermes site and its various translations?

The omission of certain points *may* come down to the goal of communicating to a global audience and space. I know the larger my audience the more edits I go through. Especially if something has to be defined to be understood (space).

I’m making a ton of assumptions, but I see Burton recognizing Goldberg below (and others) possibly because he has the freedom to write what he wants on his Insta.

I agree that when something is obviously inspired by another the reader should be educated, but that could be difficult. There is so much inside the art of these beautiful scarves. As collectors sometimes it’s we who fill in the gaps through research, talking to the artists (Burton is communicative) and through this site as you did here.

Les Anamorphoses in cw05 on its way to me. Very low stock of Les Anamorphoses online: this one is already gone and only one left of cw07 (bleu azur border). I hope they will be restocking!

Just bought the last one on the US site love the CWs offered and the unique concept. Thanks for the heads up on the low stock. My store only had one that I’m sure is out by now.

I have to say, @molmol4317, I am loving your cw of Tea for Two, too! The peach color on the H website is waaaaaay off -- anemic actually. While I predominantly wear brighter colors and black and white, I might be able to carry off this soft, pleasing pastel cw, too. Truly beautiful on you.
