Well, it's been a while!
I think I skipped all of the 2022 scarves (a number of factors--new baby, buying a house, not being absolutely in love with any of the designs and seeking out past season grails instead), but I finally broke for Tulipomanie.
Although I was attracted to the bright red and blue, after trying them both in store they seemed difficult to style with my existing wardrobe and I feared I'd default to always pairing them with white.
When cw 16 popped up on the site, I decided to take the plunge! It might seem a bit "meh" compared to its brighter sisters, but it's absolutely perfect for me. I've been looking for an orange scarf, but H orange is often hard for me to pull off. This orange is subtle enough to be wearable, and, as you can see from the quick modeling shots, it can be folded in such a way that the orange disappears entirely!
Worn with a rather wrinkled stark white tee to show that the blanc background has a just the tiniest hint of creaminess/warmth. Looking forward to pairing this with grey, black, yellow, orange, and brown!

Gorgeous-- and fabulous ties to emulate! Beautiful choice @HermesHope -- I am so delighted with mine. I hope to read a write up on your blog!

Thank you @yuzulife -- it is a charming piece for spring and summer!

Stunning-- they all look fantastic on you (of course I am partial to this one :winkiss: ). The corner you chose tohighlight on this cw is my favorite... What fun you will have playing your silky fields of tulips @Croisette7!!!!
Thank you dear! ... I‘m really enjoying my tulip fields!

I am sharing some mod shots in case it is helpful. I think both are very beautiful but I am not keeping them. It is not 100% love and I have to keep my budget under control lol

This is mon premier galop and bal de soie

Thanks for sharing! I particularly love the red Bal de Soie on you. I’ve been looking at the blue cw but I don’t love it enough to take the plunge. My collection has grown quite rapidly this past year so I’ve been trying to pace myself. You don’t have a giant triangle format in your collection yet, if I recall, do you?

I completely understand the budget issue haha. I’ve come home with 4 scarves this season and I’m just relieved they were in smaller, lighter formats and therefore cheaper than my love for the 140 CSGMs. I haven’t even worn all of them out yet since it’s still cold here!

Here are a couple shots of the corail “Rêve de Julia”. I ended up returning it in favor of the cyclamen “Costume de Fête”. However, I did love the butterscotch contrast hem! View attachment 5708510View attachment 5708511
Finally - thanks to your pictures - I got this so so lovely one and 2 more cws of Le Rêve de Julia:

I won't win any awards as a photographer  - but it may be enough to get an idea.

Though, I couldn't quite get the colours right on the "abricot" (I'd describe it as a muted / slightly burnt orange) which looks the most summery with the bright lemon yellow and the creamiest shade of white. DH commented that it had a particularly intense "delirium vibe".:giggle:

Thank you for sharing these, @redheaddem. I like the Premier Galop on you and think the dark red border is just such a gorgeous shade.

These truly are dreamy, @Pivoine66, wonderful selection. Do you have a favorite? I have been particularly curious about this design, so I really appreciate you sharing these pictures.

@Croisette7 you wear the silver beautifully, another wonderful Tulipomanie CW and so elegant.

Red looks great on you but… here is my unpopular opinion. Frankly, both designs are a bit blah IMHO (don’t want to offend anyone here so my apologies right away) and not worth the $$ spend at the current pricing level. If you are trying to stick to a budget and don’t absolutely love them, these are excellent candidates for a return trip back to the boutique:)

Thank you, dear Smae-ze and dear BlueLilac.:flowers:

well, my favourite - difficult
- the corail is the closest to my comfort zone and - although it doesn't necessarily look my absolute best of the three - it makes my heart sing.

- the brightly coloured abricot rather burnt orange IMO is really completely and utterly and totally out of my comfort zone - but is so "deliriously fun" and gaudy for summer - maybe exceptionally with a white blouse / shirt (the white blocked by this scarf) and white or blue jeans or linen or silk pants/long skirt,

- the beige rose DH likes best because the soft bleu and green and golden beige tones flatter me the most
- but for me it has white areas (almost real white, while the other's go into the creamier, which is much more favourable for me). Bought 2 for that reason,
so I can wear them in such a way that not too much of the white comes too close to my face ...).

IMO: very very versatile and unusual scarves. Many different ways to bring out the very different colours and designs - almost like several scarves in one!
The downside for me is that I have to stray from my standard biasfold as the sides are too different for my liking.

Thank you dear! ... I‘m really enjoying my tulip fields!

They are all amazing Croisette, congratulations on having so many :-)

I have have decided to keep the vermillion one besides the yellow I already own, but they are so addictive and I am already wondering if I should not add a third.... sigh these scarves are really bad news for my wallet!

Thank you GloWWOrM! You are correct, I do not own a giant triangle yet and I do like the format a lot. The vermillion is really pretty against my skin too (worn with a sleeveless dress for example). Soo tempting but I do not love the blue border and find all the colors together a bit much... For the price, I need to be very strict with myself and I try to pace myself, like you say.

Which scarves have you chosen this season? I do not recall them all right now, sorry!

The warm tones of the Premier Gallop are very becoming on you, particularly the red shade.

Thank you Smae-ze. I was actually not crazy about the design of the Premier Gallop but fell for the colors in this cw.

The red and caramel are really stunning. But to me this is has more of a fall-winter vibe... If it is still available later this summer, maybe I will give it another chance. It has already been sent back but seeing the photos I do really like it.
So pretty and elegant @labelo and it suits you beautifully.

Thank you BlueLilac, and yes, the red is very pretty!

Thank you Ashanti-Rose! I do really appreciate your honest opinions! Like you, I was not really attracted to the design of the Premier Galop, but it are the colors I love and I finds it ties really pretty. For the Bal de Soie on the other hand, I loved the design the minute I saw it, but I am a bit unsure about all the colors... I will try, as you say, to stay strict with myself and my budget and return anything I do not love 100%.
