I would love the Rouge H or blue but wonder how they're sized - cuffs rarely fit me.

I know what you mean. Very likely to scratch, Aluminium is soft after all.

Good point. Maybe if they scratch we can buy some colored foil like what is used for wrapping presents and cover the scratches.

According to H.com it's anodized aluminum so it should be pretty tough.

Anodizing only penetrates the top 10-30 microns so it can wear away with repetitive friction, however that’s very unlikely with something worn as jewelry.

As I said, "pretty tough", not indestructible. Anodized car parts hold up quite well. These should not "ding" if you bang them against something.
