I wonder if they are aluminum. They look like those colorful mid-century aluminum tumblers.
Undoubtedly you know that aluminum jewelry was available mid-century in the U.S. I had a piece which looked like this bracelet from etsy. Christie Romero,

author of several edition's of Warman's Jewelry, a really good overview of 20th C. jewelry trends, told me there was a collectors group of aluminum jewelry enthusiasts -- which says the jewelry was new, exciting and worth talking about. To me, the new brightly colored H cuffs look intriguing and contemporary compared with the muted silvery look of mid-century aluminum jewelry.

Apparently these cuffs' colours and aesthetic stemmed from the non-anodyne culture of Santa Barbara in "acid candy hues...are perfectly Californian" *

Noting that most of the colour of the Californian sunsets now come from pollution (so I was told by locals) I'm sceptical and cynical as to which came first, the product or the inspiration.

In other words, the only way that these bright, colour cuffs could be made cost-effectively (for markup) was in coloured aluminium. What next? 'Sustainable' rings made out of tin's ring-pulls?
