Exactly what I first thought when I saw it but it’s amazing on both dark navy and black - I adore it and am so glad I got it....I also wanted the green to wear with a prada bag I own but now I wonder if it will
Even compare to this CW [emoji848]
Soooo, I did what my friend @Israeli_Flava advised many years ago....”rip the tag off and wear that baby!” So I did...here is a modeling shot from my posh (NOT) work bathroom! Ithis shawl. @Living.la.vida.fifi, I am wearing it with a black top...FYI!!!
This shawl is going to be gorgeous in all colorways I fear!!!
Thanks moma, I've crossed this off my list
There have been a couple threads on this. I would personally suggest installing it on a device that uses magnets — H stores and the website sell it. Or you can devise your own for a lot less! If you do want to frame it, a good framer will know exactly what to do.
I do think that some of these season’s scarves (including Animapolis) would look great on a wall! I had a couple up at various times, but nowadays, we have too much ‘actual’ art.
Mcl1818, I worried too, but the hanging system works beautifully and my scarves don’t get dusty, nor do they get sun exposure. And my 95 pound dog hasn’t hit it yet with a toy!Thank you for the reply! I've seen those offered by H but we have forced air in my home and as silly as it sounds I would worry about the scarf getting dusty or my large rescue dog tossing a toy near it. Just silly things that would make me more neurotic than need be. We have some custom framers in my area (north NJ) I'm sure they would do a great job, I just know they're pricy. Thanks for your help!
As a graphic designer I definitely believe Animapolis would be worth of a frame! As my collection grows I'm starting to feel that I may never be able to frame one since then I couldn't wear it, even though my first purchase was with the sole intention of framing!. Funny how things change when you put one on... I'm actually planning to visit my store this weekend. I fear that once I try on Animapolis (if they have the cw I'm considering) I'll be in trouble.

Someone earlier mentioned the flatness of Alice Shirley’s new 90, L’Esprit de la Floret. I have to say I don’t find my cw flat or department store generic at all. I chose colorway 13, vert/fuschia/jaune and I find it absolutely fabulous! I’m always drawn to bright high contrast colors first, even though I have black/white/grey/blue in my silk drawer too. This colorway is gorgeous IRL. I didn’t care as much for any other colorway, but tied it’s got gorgeous depth and really brightens my face. And a happy accident, it exactly complements my H AppleWatch band. It was one of those see it, must buy it now for me!! It just goes to show how different scarves can look online, in the store, on us, etc. That’s one reason I love H silk, there’s an infinite universe to suit us all. I really didn’t care as much for the 90 scarves from last season, so this was a happy find, I “needed” another 90 desperatelyThought this might help those of you sitting on the fence, as they can be so different for each of us. And all but 3 cw are gone from h.com in the US. Happy holidays to all. Love looking at all your great mod pics. Thanks for sharing, it is so helpful when we can’t see things IRL every time!!
PS Awoooo in blue is on Christmas list, fingers crossed! It will be my first silk/cashmere scarf, as I run too warm for them generally, but just had to have it!! Dogs and wolves are wonderful.
Everything you say is very true. Each one of us is an universe and must be the ultimate judge as to what resonates with us and what suits us. There is plenty for all tastes and personalities. And congrats on your silk! If you get a chance, I would so appreciate you would share more pictures of the scarf flat in natural light as well as some modeling pics or even pics of the scarf draped so that we can get a better idea of it since very few such pics have been shared in this forum.View attachment 4283943

Thank you, all the colors are supersaturated, an irresistible combination for me. I will take more pics and post as this scarf hasn’t been out long, at least I just found it this week. This pink is so saturated and gorgeous!!!

Indeed papertiger! I was relieved last season to not be bowled over by anything, been too busy stocking silks! At this point In my life if I don’t absolutely love something it stays in store or online for someone else to love. And btw, your modeling of the pink cw of baobab cat helped me pull the trigger, and I’ve gotten so many compliments on that scarf. So thank you!!The first thing that peeked my interest was that pink and yellow, I mean yay, pink and yellow! I like the more neutral toned one @Living.la.vida.fifi has her eye on too.
Personally, I had too many scarves on my list for next season and I have to rein it in so the AS is out for now. For 4 years (8 seasons) I think I've over done it. I've loved many scarves others have been very vocal about hating and loving them. Everyones's different and vive la difference for me it's a relief when I can see a scarf isn't going to make the final edit.
