These are all splendid choices. To my surprise I find myself liking the Pivones best b/c of the delicacy of the line drawings and colors, especially when juxtaposed as you have folded it. I didn't think I'd like the Pivones at all but now I see its potential.@ILLYLOULOU96, you've inspired me photograph my purchases from this season which I haven't posted about! I love your Perspectives btwSo here are mine, for reference purposes:
1) Camails MT Cut in navy/red/blue. This is probably my most used scarf. The bright reds and blues and the navy background mean that it goes with 90% of my wardrobe
2) Equateur MT Cut in pink/green. Not my most used but definitely my favorite scarf. I also took a close-up of Dallet's beautiful animals.
3) Double Sangles 90cm. Laid flat this design is not all that special, but I find that these half-and-half scarves create a very cool effect when tied.
4) Faubourg Rainbow CSGM. I adore all the bright colors and especially the yellows. Just looking at this scarf cheers me up.
5) Cheval a la couverture CSGM. I think come winter I will get a lot of use out of the bright graphic stripes in this. Plus I had really wanted a scarf with the classical Hermes orange color in it
6) Pivoines 90cm (I've posted this one before in some other thread). This scarf is hard to wear but so gorgeous. I love the drawings of that ethereal fantasy city contrasted with the bright bold flowers. And more orange
So 2 MTs, 2 CSGMs, 2 90s (plus the Animapolis which I've framed!) That's a lot of scarves but I discovered Hermes only a few months ago and went a bit over the top with the initial excitement. Now that I know which scarf formats, colors and designs work with my wardrobe, I'll be more judicious with my purchases in the future. Not to say that I don't love all of these scarves but I have neither the budget nor the space in my wardrobe to buy indiscriminately. Still, it's been a wonderful season and I look forward to the next!![]()
View attachment 4481591 ...hope this is the right thread to post, my very first scarf, two actually ...I was so obsessed with this colourway, that my DH bought it as a ‘surprise’, not knowing I’d bought one myself while on a Paris business trip.... and then they say men don’t listen.

Oh, so sweet!View attachment 4481591 ...hope this is the right thread to post, my very first scarf, two actually ...I was so obsessed with this colourway, that my DH bought it as a ‘surprise’, not knowing I’d bought one myself while on a Paris business trip.... and then they say men don’t listen.
So true!Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful purchases. And you are already folding and tying like an Hermès-Pro ! It's also so nice of you to let me inspire you. In the end I have to thank all the members of this blog and of course the founders who inspired me.
How often do the colours of the scarves look so different on the websites and even more so when they are folded and tied to IRL. The always open, friendly and helpful communication and the sharing of the acquired treasures without envy and resentment is a small treasure in itself.
This is from S/S 2019 so you could find pictures there. I know for sure that this CW is there because I posted some. I got the CW and love it. Here it is combined with my new Cosmographia Universalis.Hello, does anyone have any modeling pics of this blue animapolis scarf? Or, for those of you who have seen it in person any thoughts? Tia!
When you fall in love with a design, I think it's natural to want it in multiple colorways — especially when the colors are very different and go with completely different parts of your wardrobe. I have 2 different colorways of Animapolis, Sweet Dreams, Grand Prix dF, and Samourais, and there are at least three AW2019 scarves that I may end up with 2 of. I think you are in Canada? If so, you are lucky to have both 05 and 08 still available from H.com! I have been very very tempted by 05, and sometimes wish I'd bought 05 & 08 instead of 01 & 08. I absolutely love the aqua color in 05.I can’t decide between animapolis cw 5 and cw 8. What do you think of purchasing two of the same but in different colours?
I have two colorways of animapolis too! My mom and I share so technically one for each. For designs that I love, I buy one to wear and frame one.Hello, does anyone have any modeling pics of this blue animapolis scarf? Or, for those of you who have seen it in person any thoughts? Tia!
So a few weeks ago, I succumbed to Animapolis’ charm. But I had no idea how amorous that Godzilla fellow would be.
