The first one looks more “you” ! Congrats!
Totally agree with others and your final choice Froufrou! I had a hard time deciding on the Siestes, and having both a twill and a GM from last issue, I felt in no rush to decide. Also the two colorways that I loved most on me, including the one you went with, were very similar colors to my CSGM though a different look. I agree with being more selective too, and continue editing my silks each year.

Fantastic choice from frou-frou! (I'm feeling tempted again...)

Thank you so much ladies, sometimes we need another pair of eyes to see past our built in filters, I’ve never
felt stark black and white suited me well and as the years roll on my colouring is becoming very low contrast which makes it even more tricky.
I think the golden colours and our fave lavender accent are what make all the difference.
I’ve just come out of a two weeks with the worst flu ever, and looking at least 100 with sunken eyes and cheeks. From time to time I pulled out the Sieste and could see that even in my old crone state, I looked better with it on , great test!:graucho::yes:

Loving you in the shrug Lanit, especially with the Sweet Dreams.
It’s cashmere silk isn’t it? It has a great drape and the colours are tdf.
I worked the shrug with 90cm a couple of time last Summer and like how it looks a lot .
A great SA in Cadogan tied my Sieste CSGM into a shrug and it looked terrific , but I can’t quite remember the crafty way she tied it , it didn’t look too much whereas my attempt seemed too baggy.:confused1:

Thanks dear! A tip on folding the 140 size shrug, I fold in half then fold in half agin to tie the shrug. It is more of a cropped shrug if that helps.

I showed an example on my Samourai collage on the SOTD thread or on my IG. Happy Easter!

I’m always contemplating , but there’s competition as I also love Cabanes CSGM in sepia and several 90s.....
But no , one 140cm Sieste is enough , I shall wear it a lot but would never be able to give neck time to two.
I like having a smallish collection , after years of over zealous collecting I’ve really tightened up on what I buy .New Seasons will come with beautiful things!
I enlisted the help of 2 H friends who described this one as ‘art gallery owner’and the more exuberant colourway as ‘Russian ballerina’.
Russian ballerina was manna to my ears, but the icy/warm vibe of this colourway with it’s more Japanese overtones was simply irresistible.
Here’s the other one... I so love it too:heart:

I agree with others I think the ochre colourway is my favourite too for you! It looks stunning! I like the concept of evaluating “neck time.” As someone who is still fairly new to H scarves, I find that I really need to step back and think about how often I will wear it instead of getting pulled in by all the beautiful things! I think I’m getting better....[emoji38]

One of our members' motto is "just because something is beautiful, doesn't mean I have to own it". I always knew this intellectually, but it didn't really hit home until the scarf obsession --- the $$$ have a way of sharpening one's focus over time

Thank you Satya, I certainly saw how great the ochre looked on you.
It’s such fun amassing scarves at the onset of silk passion, I wouldn’t worry too much yet , just enjoy it.
So long as you remember forthcoming Seasons will be alluring too.....:wtf:

Was at my boutique today. The Sietse au Paradis is very dangerous! I also have another CW on hold but here is the blanc/noir/ocre CW 3. Tried to capture the lavender colour of the water-nowhere near as skilled as fifi with her tying! View attachment 4408809View attachment 4408810
Must have been influenced by you and others when I went to the store yesterday. So many temptations. I did end up coming home with several goodies and one from the web. Will post later. too dark tonight

I’m slaying monsters today and emceeing in front of a group of 200. Perfect silk to wear... love animapolis

In which colorway is this?! It is beyond gorgeous. Don't see on web and was not in the store when I was there yesterday. Wonder if I am too late to the game or if this could be located? It is breathtaking!! I bought the blue/green paler one, but this might be required 2fer! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
