Yes, the new tags are particularly ridiculous. You have to cut them off, but verrrrrrrrry carefully. Next time I might make them do it in the boutique! Let them deal with the nervousness.
I’ve cut off all the bigger tags H have been using for the past few seasons. I’ve keep them just in case but I cannot imagine myself ever sawing them back on...

I went into my boutique many weeks ago in search of a Faubourg Rainbow Gavroche...my DH was with me and he eyes this CSGM on display and insists that I try it on...lo and behold we loved it and this is what came home with me. Totally unexpected...memo to self, always bring DH with me when I go the the H boutique!!!
It probably makes resale harder, but I've always cut off my tags. I can't stand seeing them flop around or scratching me. I use a seam ripper, which is precise and fairly low risk
Please start a new thread on what to do about (these hideous and ridiculously big new) 'tags'. it's very interesting but outside the range of this season's offerings.
