I do too GUCCIhoochie - and it looks wonderful on you! Thanks for your help! Thanks so much! This is CW8 - Bleu/Gris/Vieux Rose ... I love blues and the contrast hem![]()
Thank you! How fast do most of the scarves sell out in the boutiques and online? I have asked an SA in the Atlanta store to find the two that I would like (Animapolis in CW1 and the Pivoines in blanc/orange/vert) as I don't live near a boutique. I'm presuming that most stores and the US site will have availability for most styles after the first of the year...is that a risky presumption? Thanks!
Hi @mcl1818 . I am also tempted by the Awooooo scarf. Did you fall for the marine/azur/ciel or the ocean/antracite/noir, or perhaps the prune/gris/bleu glacier color way? It is so hard to choose one as I am attracted most to the ocean/antracite colorway visually, but know that the marine/azure colorway will work the best for my skin tone and clothing. Happy New Year in advance, fellow New Jerseyan.I'm very new to collecting but per my SA, whichever colorways they hang up as featured at each store tend to be the ones that are selling out faster, at least for the holidays, but more will be coming in. My store had cw 08 up and my SA said a lot of the men walking in for their wives were like "oh that's pretty I'll get that one". My store is Hackensack NJ and they had every colorway as of friday. Only one cw 08 left after we purchased and it was the display one. I asked if they thought they would run out of any other colors and she said "it's quite new, I wouldn't worry yet". That said, if you find one you love, buy when you can. I waited on the Awooooo and just finally purchased today because I was worried about the price increase, and I couldn't help myself. I also was tempted to order and ship to a family member in Canada from their site (I was quite interested in the chartreuse Awooooo) but opted not to burden her lol. Good luck in your search!

I am trying my best to resist, but I am weak! So far, all of the scarves (3) I have purchased have animals on them, whether hybrid animals, monsters/dogs/penguins/etc., etc. etc., or leopards. I guess that explains my attraction to Awooooo! Thank you for your response. You have excellent taste!I fell for marine/azure/ciel! I love both but I felt those colors would stand out better against my dark brunette hair and the colors I tend to wear. I really do like the prune/gris as well but I have been known to dye my hair red and most recently dark purple, and somewhere in my reasoning decided that the blue was the best (I love every single colorway so by the end my rationale was really just telling myself I had to pick one before the prices went up and I would go from there). I really loved the chartreuse/yellow background one but alas, not available online at the moment. I really don't think you can go wrong with any cw of this scarf, they're all very easy to wear in my opinion. Not to be an enabler, but you should totally do it!!
The l'Esprit is incredible on you!!My first two picks for Spring 2019. L'esprit de la Foret - cw07. I love this scarf. I love the colours and depending on how you tie it you can show off different details of the scarf. (Two quick pics)
And am totally in love with my Jungle Tatoo CSGM. I ordered it on line and thought everything was fine and then got an email message saying the purchase was being refunded. Whaaat???![]()
I thought my order had been canceled and I was so bummed out. Anyway, I called and they said no, there was "glitch", and the shawl was there for me. Hermes elves at work!
And of course my own little Queen of the Jungle, luxuriating on the chair I call her throne, against a faux fur throw. Initially, she thought I brought home a giant critter for her to eat, as she grabbed parts of the throw with her teeth and gave it little tosses with her head. Convinced throw is not food, she now loves snuggling up against it.

Love the greens. And the "eggs" look interesting. A scarf for a hardboiled scarf addict...
That’s a great idea , wrap up in silk and have someone run around bringing you hot drinks and delicious fruits. Don’t forget to complain at regular intervals in order to keep supplies comingConcerning the scarves I feel I will keep them both, they are fun and very different from my others. The different CWs serve different purposes.
Concerning my health I wonder what happens when a women gets man flu. Maybe they need to wrap their necks with extra silk![]()

similar but still very different. I don't know if I would wear them together...
@eagle1002us, I really like your interpretation, it is a butterfly wing and a bird's wing soaring high with the forest below.
I ordered 2 CWs of Esprit de la foret, more pictures to come...
I bet you will love it! I bought cw 13, the pink, blue and yellow one, and absolutely adore it. It sounds like your wardrobe will like your orange butterfly! It’s a great pop of color on these dreary winter days. Birds and butterflies - is spring here yet? Hope you enjoy.Thank you, HoneyLocks!
I now own the big orange butterfly with the green and blue dotted area. I'm not quite sure I have anything to wear with it as I have no orange but maybe my wardrobe emphasis on blue-greens will make the butterfly soar!
I like deep colors so I'm really happy you posted cw 5 and in particular, folded it in the basic fold which is generally how I wear my HS. The picture where you criss-crossed the two scarves in the front around your neck and tied in the back is another pix I appreciate. I like the way it ties like that on you. It does look like a fall/winter scarf in the cw so you could put it with a tweed jacket, maybe? I really like all the variation in the color display depending on how you tie it. It's one of these scarves which may not necessarily be spectacular on its own but could be just the right combo for an outfit in harmonizing colors. At home sick with the flu: time enough to take some pictures: are these flu shots?
I ordered 2 CWs of L'Esprit de la Foret, CW 7 and CW5. I like Alice Shirley's art, the forest down below in between the wings reminds me of Jardin Anglais (none of the CWs appealed to me so I never got one). I like the "claire de la lune" color combination (CW5), this is the pattern that sings to me most.
But I am still not sure if I like how it ties: huge blobs of color next to intricate leaves. the feeling of flying high above the forest gets lost when tied (but I still know about it, it has the feeling of freedom).
On the other side it is a real chameleon scarf, depending on how it is knotted many different looks can be achieved.
Also the back side is almost as saturated as the front side.
CW 5 will be my darkest/gloomiest scarf ever if I keep it, it is darker than pictured.View attachment 4292749 View attachment 4292750 View attachment 4292751 View attachment 4292752 View attachment 4292753 View attachment 4292754 View attachment 4292755 View attachment 4292756 View attachment 4292757
Thank you, Dr. T for your suggestion, that's probably spot on!I bet you will love it! I bought cw 13, the pink, blue and yellow one, and absolutely adore it. It sounds like your wardrobe will like your orange butterfly! It’s a great pop of color on these dreary winter days in the US. Hope you enjoy.
Oh, please show us!Thank you, HoneyLocks!

Good luck. Things trickle into the boutiques, and appear randomly online also. Some of us spend a lot of time hitting "refresh." Just gotta be diligent. Thanks! I tried to order off of the Canadian site, but it wouldn't let me ship to a US address. I will pack my patience and cross fingers that the Atlanta SA (and my daily sleuthing on the US site) will pay offHappy New Year!
