Did your SA tell you that the SM didn’t approve?

yes kind of. basically said they have backlogged list of orders to clear. I guess I’ve to be patient when building a long term relationship.

Abit sad.. I’ve spent more than 16K across several categories such as FJ, homeware, scarfs, costume jewellery etc but don’t seem to be approved by SM for a QB. But I’ve only started my journey a month ago but do intend to be a longtime customer. Can I check pls how long on average do you need to take to get offered a QB for first time customers?

Can I ask what was the bag you requested for ? Is it B25/K 25 in neutral ? These bags are really really high in demand esp in neutral colours . Even on the second hand market - it’s not easy to find . Maybe that’s why the prespend and wait tends to be longer . And the 16k estimate was for last year - might be higher this year

yes requested for those above. Anyway, just gotta be patient I guess.. a long journey anyway. But I need to curb myself from keep going to the boutique every week hah.. I keep seeing things I like and keep buying! Need to pace my shopping

If you plan to have a long term relationship, you might want to show it that way from your spending. Not spending so fast and furious.

I think depending on your store, you might need to wait between 2 or 3 months, all the way to 6 to 8months.

If u requested for b25 or k25 in neutral, ur prespend might even need to go up to 1:2.

Weekends are crowded, best to go during weekdays. Go early like 10.45am to put your name in the list and go shop around or have a coffee as the wait is shorter. Some have also posted that they call the store in advance to make an appointment.

think you should pace yourself lol ...unless money no issue

i'm also waiting for a b25 in neutral color and my SA told me that some of his clients have been waiting for 3 months and counting. basically setting expectations. however i'm still buying albeit in smaller items..and have expanded my colors to seasonal neutrals as well to see if there's better chances. good luck to us!

She can propose but u just might have to be prepared to wait.

I spent $320 in total for this (was $230 but i topped $82 for the anti-reflective glass). The price varies and will depends on the materials of the frame you choose and also if you will addition of acid free matboard (white the boarder you see). Lead time is a week for mine.

Based on observations, Taka Q is the worst even on weekdays, MBS and Liat can be manageable if you are there early like before 12noon. Register for the Q, shop/lunch around the area, wait for your turn. As a rule of thumb, I generally avoid shopping at H on weekends.

My experience was I did the fast and furious and hit the pre-spend fairly quickly. once i reached the pre-spend amt required (in my SA's perspective) for the bag model and specs I wanted, she hinted at me to stop spending and wait first. I thought this really helped me in my journey so I can pace myself.

Hi! I started shopping with my SA in Feb last year and only got my QB recently. I was a slow spender, made small purchases at regular intervals across most categories including FJ and RTW. I didn’t keep a close eye on my spend, and when I did in Sep (realised I spent close to 20k!), I told my SA that I would love a birkin. She said she already asked and was waiting for approval from SM. 2 months later (Nov) she called me asking for my wishlist and told me it will definitely next year lol. 4 months later she had an offer for me, I declined, then a month later she had another offer which I accepted.

As you can see, it took a while for me. But I had so much fun shopping with my SA in the year! I know some of the ladies here got their QB quite quickly, but I hope you’re enjoying your purchases in the meantime. The QB will definitely come… just have to wait!
