Everything counts towards your profile. Some items just have a heavier influence than others. The chance of you being offered a mk as your first is incredibly slim. It’s the most sought after bag right now and your SA probably has a list a mile long of more established clients that want one however never say never with H. I would be direct with your SA and ask what your chances are.
Thanks so much for the insight, I really like their Rhubarbe perfume and would prefer to buy it in store with an SA if it can add to my purchase history. I was also just curious if anyone here has ever had experience receiving a mini Kelly as their first QB

Was also wondering whether the 1:1 has to be spent within one year or can I accumulate it over the years. Because while I do love the brand I don't have an unlimited budget and really only want to purchase items that I genuinely love!

Yes, their perfumes are counted to quota too.

For the 1:1 or more than 1:1 ratio, it is more for customers who want to get up to 2 quota bags in a year. You can take as long as you want to build the profile but it will be good to communicate this to your SA as well. It is generally easier to get your first quota bag and there is no clear rules that you cannot get a mini kelly as your first bag. If you are ok to wait, it is not impossible to get it as your first bag.

It also depends in your relationship with your SA too. If he/she is someone who prefer big spenders, then you may not be able to get it as your first quota bag. You can ask him/her on the minimum purchase needed to get mini kelly and let him/her know that you will slowly shop for years for it. Maybe the demand for mini kelly will be lower by then and it will be easier for you to get it. If you are getting it for your own use and you really like the bag, it doesn’t matter what is the current trend.

However, if your SA leave Hermes before you hit your spending, it might be a bit tricky for you to continue to build the profile.

thanks for the info.

my SA already confirmed that I am eligible for a mini constance. But I will need to purchase fine jewelry for K25.

I don’t mind purchasing fine jewelry but stock for fine jewelry has been low lately..

What do you think.. is it better to get a mini constance now, or wait until they have more coming stock so I can be eligible for a K25?
If you like a Mini Constance, buy it now (assuming you like the offer of course). H is very unpredictable. What if your SA leaves? Then you might need to re-establish a new relationship to be able to be offered a K and a C then.

Thanks so much for your detailed response @kura ! Good to know that purchase history won't expire after a year. I've also actually read a bit about this on the forum. Why will it be trickier if current SA leaves? Is it not possible for new SA to pick up where you left off with whatever purchase history you have? Is it because they need to get to know you etc? Sorry if this is a silly question!

It depends on how far you are into the journey. Ultimately you need to contribute to their commission for them to “help” you sufficiently to get the combination you wanted. More commissions, more motivation to help you.

Just to share with you guys, I requested from my SA a non QB bag (mini 24 24) around end of January ad last week she messaged me that new bags have arrived in MBS. And plenty of colours for Mini Evelynes, Bolides, KTG....maybe you can ask your SAs!

I am currently travelling so dont think I can pick up the mini 2424 yet!

Good luck!
Sorry am quite new to this hermes. But jus curious, how to know what are quota bags and what are not? I know Kelly Birkins Constance are. And likely most mini bags. Will the SA tell u?

Usually if u put on waitlist, can u still buy another bag if u chanced upon it when walking in on other occassions?

Sorry, how much is pre-spend amount this time to get birkin kelly ? Normally 25-30k before you can get bk is it ?
Hello Jasmine. I’m going to take a stab at answering your qn but it will be rather long winded. Bear with me.

Hermes, as a luxury fashion house, wants customers of a certain profile i.e. those who buy across various categories of Hermes’ product offerings from ready to wear, homeware, fine jewellery, watches, SLGs, scarves, bags and shoes etc. This means that you’ll have to build your profile across the different categories and hit a pre-spend before being offered a BK. Spending on bags are not counted towards the quota (and for SLGs only a percentage). Ballpark figure for a new customer - yes I think 25-30K is reasonable (of which you’d have to hit sufficient quota for your non-bag pdts ie 1.3-1.5 of the cost of the QB). As you move along your journey, the ratio changes depending on your profile and your relationship with your SA. My views are based on my personal experience in SG. Across the 3 boutiques SG, the “rules” are different so it’s difficult to pinpoint accurately. Everyone’s journey is different and I’d say, pls enjoy your journey. Buy what you love - not just because of a B/K coz if you only want the B/K, it might be faster to go down the reseller route.

Thank you so much for your answer.
can you share your experience about 3 boutiques, which one easier?

Easier is very subjective. As long as you met the right SA, it doesn’t matter which boutique and your journey will be easier.

Alternatively, you can read the past 30 to 50 pages to get a sense of the different boutiques.

Hello ladies

Can anyone recommend an SA from Liat towers?

Many thanks!

As much as the members here would like to, it doesn’t work that way. If you could read the last 50 pages of this thread, you would get the idea of how shopping with Hermes is like nowadays. The members here have been very generous in sharing their own experiences. Goodluck in your journey.
