It is interesting to read that Mini K is usually not offered as the 1st QB, what about exotic leather QB? When does one gets offered? I am only 1 year into my H journey in SG and asked my SA last year, she was vague about the possibility of getting one. That is her way of saying no exotic leather QB for me yet.
I appreciate any insights from those who were offered one.

Mini Ks are really tough to get allocated and I would like to think that I’m in the “regular” category.

I can only speak about my own experience on exotics. Was previously offered one in year 2-3 a terre cuite ostrich B30 in palladium but rejected because it wasn’t my “thing” have also told my SA that I wasn’t keen. I’m sure though that it’s just spending and overall relationship because my friend just bought a Himalayan B30. Her spend usually is within the normal range and for that particular purchase i think she spent roughly 80k to 90k on estimate?

That being said she maximizes her 2 QB every year and only started about 3-4 years ago. But she’s easily in the big spender category when necessary. Perhaps that’s the differentiator.

A lot also depend on store, MBS/Liat/Taka are 3 very different stores with different client profiles and tenure of clients. Each has each perks but also has it’s challenges.

@exsq
Thanks for the insight.

I think Hermes can start issuing badges for its customers to unlock, just like in games when we hit a new level. eg
1. 1st QB
2. Allowed to place a deposit for an item
3. SA reserves an item for you
4. 1st fine jewelry
5. 1st watch
6. 1st Mini K
7. 1st exotic leather QB
8. Invitation to special events
9. SA brings out items not displayed on shelves
10. 1st crystal ware
11. 1st tableware
12. 1st SO
13. 1st Limited Edition bag

And the list goes on.

Hi, can u share how much pre spend to get Himalayan ? :)

I use a dry cabinet for my bags and it’s just amazing. Bags are in almost perfect condition like day one. I avoid the dust bag and boxers because over time you will have mould growing in the boxes. Happens almost all the time.
Oh my... mould growing in boxes/bags. What a nightmare! I just moved here and learning to adjust to new climate/environment. Any other tips other than using them in rotation, as well as using dry cabinets would be appreciated!
