Hihi! Would you guys happen to know whether it is difficult to walk in and get a GP30 in Gold? I don't have a profile in SG as I used to shop overseas when I travel. And also if I do get my GP30, can I request to wait for another non QB like mini E/ picotin 18 or would I need to wait a few months before I do so? Thank you in advance!

Hi! I'm thinking of starting my Hermes journey at the MBS outlet. Is it possible to share some of your opinions with me? like are the staff there friendly and if they have more or less stock. Thank you!
I agree that Liat has certainly the most stock being the flagship, Taka is relatively competitive due to the card point rebates. A very senior SA who was posted to MBS for a few years told me the following. Pre Covid all the stock at MBS is ordered more with tourists in mind esp the high-spending, high-net worth casino clients. This means the higher end watches and fine jewellery as well as exotics. Most of these are brought directly to hotel rooms and not even shown in the store. The bags was sold through more ad hoc transactional type episodes and it is rarer to have loyal local clients form long relationships at the store. However of course it is not impossible and might be easier right now. At th end of the day you need to find an SA who clicks with you where you also find most of the items from the store buy suit your taste and preferences.

From different social media postings about MBS, my perception is that it’s very transparent, the SA share the pre-spend openly. But it’s only my perception.

Agreed. And it seems like it’s faster to get QB from MBS as well. The rest have wait quite a number of months after hitting pre-spend
Is the QB generally higher? I want to add that I no longer shop in SG, I have not lived there for the last 7 years, I do not compete with any of the members here for any QB but I have kept in touch with my SAs, SMs and good friends I made, who are now VVVIPs. So purely giving personal insight, advice and personal experience.

From what others have shared, i think Taka’s pre-spend is the highest. Liat depends on the SA and MBs is generally 1:1 after the first QB.
