I am not sure if it applies to SG as well but I think it is worth sharing here. I've read in some posts that there is a scarcity of quota bags specifically in the US, several customers have received messages from their respective SAs that they won't be receiving any, or less than usual, shipments until December due to production/supply chain issues. If true, such issue could be a contributing factor why your quota bags are taking so long.

Hi ka3na20, thanks for your response. Yes, i saw that thread as well. But was wondering if anybody heard of such in SG as well.

Ah ok, my SA has never reveal to me much in terms of QB. She will make suggestions to some colour which i assume if i say yes i will get the QB soon but it doesn’t seems to be the case. So was wondering if it is a case of shortage of QB or there is a q to fulfil the QB for those in line or how it works

It’s a case of which sa has the fastest hands first.. unless it’s a specific colour and hw and there’s a long request for it..

I’m very certain if I took my sa’s suggestion, it’s already hinted it can be as soon as within a week depending on

Congrats! Think every SA has different style. Mine doesn’t like to discuss much about QB so i’m still playing guessing games on this area most of the times. I always thought if she suggest certain colours means she has privy to upcoming shipment and that’s a hint from her. But i have been waiting for quite some time and spending quite abit yet still no news.

It's quite worrying on this matter.. I too am waiting for my first QB for about 2 months, and have asked my SA whether my spending after giving her my qb list, now goes towards the next qb. My SA said 'no' but she didn't sound too sure on this matter and emphasized the store will still take into account my current spending while waiting for my bag. I'm unclear what she means and when my customised watch comes, I will be asking her again. =(

My sa touched on this topic. Was saying if my bag spec needs a longer waiting time, can continue spending. It will be considered for the next qb. The qb topic was brought up during collection of my watch today

Right, in fact when I gave my wish list, I was told it’ll probably take about 2 months but now it’s already double the time. I think I read it here somewhere last month someone mention the store is fulfilling QB submission in May so I was hoping mine should be around this month but Nov is around the corner yet no news:sad:

Actually don’t need to worry. It’s a known issue that shipment is low. Fulfilling qb submission in May is also very dependent on the size colour and hardware. It could take longer for many reasons. And it can be faster if your wishlist is a new seasonal colour and u r open to slight variations. The waiting time tends to be longer if your spec range is very narrow.

Hmmm….think most times it’s not just so simple to “enjoy and wait”.

There is a lot of money involved. (Not applicable to those who are able to allocate huge part of their budget to Hermes)

As the time goes on, there is a lot of uncertainty like rule changes, SA leaving the store, some other items previously requested came but it’s actually intended to be for the next bags, keep on spending while waiting for bag or not….

Adding to it, I saw on Social media that there is a rumour of price increase after Christmas. While in the past, Hermes price increases had been reasonable to even negligible, that was in the past. Now, during the pandemic times of global supply chain disruptions….really can’t tell how much would be the price adjustment. Seeing other Brands, I just hope we don’t get a major shock.

There is indeed reason for a lot of anxiety.
