We have had so many reports about OT unrelated topics that have nothing to do with Singapore H stores.

If you are not writing on something pointedly pertaining to a Singapore store (only) please post in the appropriate thread(s)

I had 2 very bad experience with local resellers (extremely bad tempered, haughty, and yelled at me actually when I request she transferred the funds to my account as I don't want to carry cash)..personal shoppers (who disappeared with my $$ for 4 months, before returning it after loads of threats, claiming that customs singapore was holding back my bag..) I had friends who lost their K shopping overseas in Paris.


I will give my $$ to the SA with the best service and only selected resellers who honor what they promise. Good service will get my $.

But for best peace of mind.. I guess is to buy direct from the boutique. Unless of cos it is vintage (I love H vintage) which I have to do lots of research and bababebi helps alot.

Luckily I have a regular trusted & good personal shopper and another good trusted reseller here in KL Won’t buy from reseller w/o getting bababebi to authenticate it. unless I am getting it from Heritage or Christie’s Auction.

No worries, I'm just asking out of curiosity as I'm quite sure I spent far lesser than that to get my first K. Anyway, as per H's norm, the rules changes as and when they please

I think customs usually give passengers a bit of leeway unless they really go OTT with it
I’ve never had a problem with my 1 bag comeong through the airport with me
The woman in the original story had 10 boxes of bags and shoes

Sorry but my SA prefers that I do not share her name unless I bring my family or friends to the store with me, hope you can understand. FYI, I didn't start buying H with the sole purpose of obtaining a K or B, in fact I really do not like B and my SA knows never to offer me that. Rather I started my journey as I fell in love with their scarves and slowly branched out to jewellery, homeware, shoes, etc. To me, whether or not I get offered a bag is not important. If I do get a K, it's a plus, if I don't, no hard feelings as there are so many other bag choices available (Roulis, Halzan, Constance, and the list goes on ) Thus, if your main concern is to get a K or B and also you do not want to play the H game, I highly recommend that you look into a reputable reseller instead. Honestly, the prices on the reseller market is not as outrageous as before and the selection is so much wider than the stores. If I'm desperate for a certain specs and unwilling to wait, I might start to consider the reseller route. But right now, I'm still comfortable playing the H game, or lack thereof since I'm still recovering from my K

My journey kind of started like yours!
Scarves then branching into jewellery, then sliding down the orange slope faster than I realise...
I’m slightly OCD about closing my bags up properly so B or K didn’t appeal to me until I started seeing ladies carrying them open and they started growing on me!

Ah.. But I am not really into scarves. I love their bracelets and belts and also a few of their bags.. I have been buying H stuff all over when I travel or walk-in to stores in Singapore without working with SA. Wasted the chance to build up my account. It’s just because I didn’t think I was the type who would carry a Birkin. But I am loving the idea more and more and hoping that my road to to my Birkin would not cost too much of a “damage”.,

It counts as a quota i.e. same as a B or K. So answer is NO.

Would any of you know if it’s easier to get B/K at Liat , NAC or Scott Square assuming that you have quota built up at all 3 stores ? One SA told me that each store can only order a certain quantity of those bags . And I supposed the H VVIPs will get priority ? Which stores are more open and welcoming to new H customers?

I believe you need to get a spend at each store to get a bag offer from that specific store. It doesn't add up across boutiques. My advice is to choose the store and SA/SM you click with and try to keep all purchases to that location. If you love Hermes, your bag offer will arrive. H VVVIP definitely have priority as they have probably had a long relationship at their store.
