Honestly.. I believe the SA all have sales quota to fulfil.. My SA just confirmed yes.. There are sales quotas in place for them.

The senior ones.. Are better at assessing if they can convert new clients into a long term brand loyal client.. That is the ultimate aim right?

If u are like me and value our shopping experience as part of the memories of purchasing a luxury item... And you must appreciate the brand and its designs..Then it is worthwhile to go toward this long term relationship. I always believed the expensive price we pay for the bag is also for the service and shopping experience.

But nevertheless, I know of people who got a Birkin with spending amount lower then the quotas, and yes excluding bags.. I guess the SA plays a part. If they like u and the store manager gives green light. U can get it..

Bags are not included in the quota but SLGs usually are.

Thanks for the info.

Agree with what you said and I do value the shopping experience and appreciate the quality and heritage of the brand。but It gets to me sometimes that to get a certain bag, we need to reach certain quota within a limited time. I actually just started my collection this year because I really like their workmanship and quality. A lot of times I do find it difficult to purchase items as their designs and stocks are so limited.

I used to shop overseas in Europe and think so silly, why other people shop local Hermes.. But it really gotten so crowded there, I am often mistook as s chinese national now.. It used to be such a pleasant buying experience, quiet and exclusive purchase. Lots of memories created. A lot of My bags are momentosof my memories - travelling, significant events etc.

Anyway it gotten so.. I got fed up of the queues and hordes of people.. I prefer long term. And I cannot travel as often as I did in the past due to work and family. So I only just started shopping local stores only last year..

In singapore. I still get served by Singaporeans! Not that many foreign talent unlike other brands..While I understand our country needs them.. But I prefer this shopping experience.

Maybe I gotten older [emoji23]

Thank you Kkho. I feel blessed! and is nice actually to get a surprise find that is totally unexpected.

I am a sucker for vintage, unique stuff, one of a kind, bi-colors, multiple functions from my purchases, and i find so many from this brand in very classic styles these last few seasons!

I think if you stick to one primary SA, as time goes by, you will be able to purchase the nice items that you actually want!

Provided our taste remains the same! With H stuff, need see actual items.. and since exact shade not in stock for u to try..I do change my mind often after I have seen the actual colour. E.g. Blue unit in gold hardware in Lindy 26, swift leather. I thought I will like it.. when I tried it against me.. all my SA started shaking their heads. Dun match my skin tone and usual styling..

She has been using photos from tpf to post bags for sale.
