Hello, revisiting this topic as I was recently (these 4 months?) told it is now considered a non QB instead of SLG. Anyone told the same by your SA? I like the KTG and my SA says I should get it or CTG. But I wouldn’t want it if it is considered a non QB.
I was told that KTG and CTG are considered like a non-QB and does not count towards a pre-spend. I think it is still categorised as an SLG but use up the non-QB quota.

What about Kelly 25 and Kelly 28? It’s hard to get them in SG or easier than Pochette, K mini etc?

You seem to have some misconceptions about Singapore or the Hermes stores in Singapore. Asia Pacific accounts for almost 50% of Hermes' revenue. Everybody and anybody walking into Liat/MBS/Taka is likely to be richer and more than willing to splurge than you can imagine. Yes, even those wearing flip flops or slippers or berms... THEY are the ones who can easily spend 100:1 in a visit. :p

So, it would almost to near impossible to get anything B/K/C or a mini Lindy on your first visit even with a 2:1 or 3:1 or 5:1. I once overheard an SA telling an tourist openly, "even if you spend $1million (yes, Singapore dollars) today, I have no bag for you."

Your bestest best bet would be a picotin or a herbag or a larger garden party, even then, this is highly unlikely. Im not a naysayer, just managing your expectations :)

For sure they have bags in every store. But you were particularly asking for a Kelly Pochette right? The issue is availability. It is not everyday that SG stores have them. Even if you spend 1 million sgd if Singapore doesnt have one, how can you get one.
If OP is spending 1 mil in a single visit, it is actually good for Singapore GDP. Please come to Singapore more often. :D

I agree with you about managing expectations. There is no "sop" every H journey is unique. Pre spent does not guarantee anything. It's multi factorial I would say, spending history, the type of spend, the SA and the customer relationship, the supply/demand, luck etc. I heard of people who prespend up to 20k and no bags.
Its not going to help if there alot of customers wanting the same type of specs.

Generally about 1:1. My SA asked if I was interested when my prespend was around 12K last year. But there was also a forumer who posted in this thread that she got one at less than 1:1, so it could vary.
Does your shopping history have to align with your prespend? Meaning If you have been shopping for about a month and spent 10K what is the likelihoodof being offered a quota and/or non-quota bag?

I think u may need to read the context. The post u quoted was a reply about Constance specifically, which is around 12k+ last year.

For b and k, u might need to spend around 18 to 20k for a start these days.

Hello Jasmine. I’m going to take a stab at answering your qn but it will be rather long winded. Bear with me.

Hermes, as a luxury fashion house, wants customers of a certain profile i.e. those who buy across various categories of Hermes’ product offerings from ready to wear, homeware, fine jewellery, watches, SLGs, scarves, bags and shoes etc. This means that you’ll have to build your profile across the different categories and hit a pre-spend before being offered a BK. Spending on bags are not counted towards the quota (and for SLGs only a percentage). Ballpark figure for a new customer - yes I think 25-30K is reasonable (of which you’d have to hit sufficient quota for your non-bag pdts ie 1.3-1.5 of the cost of the QB). As you move along your journey, the ratio changes depending on your profile and your relationship with your SA. My views are based on my personal experience in SG. Across the 3 boutiques SG, the “rules” are different so it’s difficult to pinpoint accurately. Everyone’s journey is different and I’d say, pls enjoy your journey. Buy what you love - not just because of a B/K coz if you only want the B/K, it might be faster to go down the reseller route.
1.3-1.5 is 1.3-1.5 times of the price of the non qb in prespend to get the non qb? This is something I just cannot get. Some people on xhs walk in and just manage to get some popular non qb. But I was also told by friends before that there always need to be some prespend for the non qb while some friends say no need. What are the experiences that all of you have here? Understand it’s different for different people but just want to hear about it.

A lot of the xhs posts are not painting the full picture. It’s a humble brag to say that you get xxx bag without or with low prespend. However, that usually is not the case after you view the profile of the person and also the kind of comments he/she posted. It’s usually with a certain level of prespend or long purchase history (but prespend is wiped due to QB, etc).

If you want to know more about which country is easier to get bags, I recommend you to watch Hermes financials. It will give you a clear hint and directly from Hermes what they value for prespend and how competitive it is for each country. It’s directly from Hermes senior management which all of our SAs have to follow.

Yes, non-qb is getting difficult to get in Singapore. It doesn’t look like it will get easier anytime soon for Singapore/Australia and 1 more country which I forgo. It was mentioned by Hermes CFO indirectly.

Yea I was really frustrated! Like u dun even value me as ur client! Someone else did though but she wasnt very helpful and she asked me to msg my SA should i need anything. Ok so I requested an Evelyn tpm 3 weeks ago and she did not reply me with regards to that. So I arranged an appt w her, hoping to score one and maybe talk to her about my wishlists. But she didn't respond.
The first sa I ever had also didn’t bother to tell me she is medical leave when I turned up for appointment. That boutique also didn’t bother to let me enter and just told me to join the queue. The sa also didn’t bother to contact me after returning to work. Thank goodness I decided to switch sa afterwards.

Yes, non-qb is getting just as difficult to get in Singapore. It doesn’t look like it will get easier anytime soon for Singapore/Australia and 1 more country which I forgo. It was mentioned by Hermes CFO indirectly.
Thanks for the insight! Will check it out, definitely would be an interesting read. For now I will just focus on qb in sg.
Taiwan is also another difficult country. Their prespend is a whole new level.

I agree about XHS posts that do not give you a full picture. I also read about a Chinese reseller who said that a customer tried to return the bag and asked for a refund after posting her unboxing video. Apparently the customer said that the bag was bought from a H store.
