Anyone who has experience making a SO in SG stores know usually which month of the year is it open to clients? Is it twice a year?
Your SA is your best source of information on this topic. Why don’t you let her know that you’re interested in an SO bag and let her tell you if your profile makes the mark. Our purchase histories and profiles differ so what’s applicable to us may not be applicable to you and vice versa. Be brave and ask!
 
Hello. I would like some advice here.
First time ordering Oran sandals online for collection in store. Didn’t touch or try the sandals on when the SA opened the package to show me the size printed on the underside of the shoe as I know my size so I told him that he can pack it away. Then as I was taking out the sandals to put away on the same day and I notice that there’s scratches on the leather. Emailed Hermes Customer Service with pictures but they said I can’t prove that 2 out of the 3 marks is from them so they won’t exchange it. Anyone had a similar situation and what did you do? Or just live with it? I understand it’s partly my negligence for not checking before leaving the store. I was too dumb and trusted their quality standards blindly as I never had issues before. Can you get back to the store to speak to the SA or SM? I find face to face interaction much better than emailing Customer Service especially when it comes to Hermes. It's going to be slightly awkward if the pair was brand new and unboxed in front of you, but it never hurts to try and discuss it. I have also learnt to ask my eagled-eyed SAs to check everything for me before I purchase especially bags. QC has dropped and I have seen some real whoppers out of clingfilmed boxes. Best of luck.

If you go to the IG accounts of SG resellers, just half the amount plus 20% or so, that’s your minimum prespend.

All stores in SG have long wait times now coz of the stock situation globally. It’s not solely a Singapore thing but a global phenomenon. If you want to cut short the waiting time, either throw in a lot of pre-spend or go the reseller route.

If you want to build your profile in SG, then you have to wait. And be patient.

@callmelindy , if you are throwing money, I’m not sure how many times the current pre spend u need to throw in. U might need to confirm that with the SA you are working with to see if it is possible. I have seen people throw in 2x or 3x and still wait 8 months.

thank you for your kind advice!! Really appreciate it. I’ll definitely try that. It was going back forth with them for so long, I was ready to accept the flaws.
