I've made deposits for some fine jewelry and exceeded prespend but does it not count until the actual items come in? I've also spent on shawls, scarf rings, home goods, shoes, SLG, but the total for those is under 16k. Wondering if I should keep spending on items already in stock but then if my FJ comes in it would be way above that amount. Would it rollover at Liat or after I get my quota bag I would need to spend another 16k for my next bag?
My SA would tell me that she won't know exactly when the ordered items will come. I guess she doesn't want to overpromise me anything. So if I want to hit my pre-spend urgently, it makes more sense to buy whatever is available in-store.

Hi, am a newbie with H and am wondering, does taka outlet generally have much lower inventory ? Hoping for kind souls who have experiences in all boutiques to share pls.
Also, if an item is sold out in store, but available online, should I just order from the web or is there a better way to go about it?
I just get a feel that my SA knows what’s coming in or not at times and would rather not order/take deposit for items I am keen on but would rather I pick what’s available in store >.<
Hi. My SA told me that not all FJ requires deposit, usually they take deposits only for the higher-priced ones. For those that are lower-price eg below 10k, she will help me to queue for it and inform me to collect once it arrives. Not sure if every store operates the same way, maybe others can share.

Can those who submitted their QB request recently share their experience on what leathers are usually available? My SA suggested that I go for Epsom, however I'm more keen on non-grained/ smoother leathers. I expect that the wait for QB will be long regardless of leather type and I'm ok to wait. Was very rushed when I spoke to her about this and didn't get to find out much from her. Thanks.

Leather type that my SA asked if I would like are : box, Togo, ostrich, swift etc. Let her know what leather you would like and see what she say. Pick something that you like!

more smooth would be swift or veau jonathan or barenia or box. i can imagine for barenia and box, will be rather rare. perhaps ask your SA which one of these are more in stock, or if you can wait for multiple skins?

I saw more offers on evercolor leather recently. Got my c18 on evercolor. It’s not grainy as togo/ clemence. It’s not stiff as epsom too. It’s somehow in between, but smoother. Not as smooth as swift tho.

for those with orans sandal, does it feel “slippery” between ur sole and the base of the sandals? as in “no grip”?
Im not sure if it’s the same issue w mine previously. But I experienced the “no grip” thingy. Solved w additional vibram sole done by the cobbler. Few ladies have suggested few cobblers some pages back too!

Deposits don’t count. Only upon actual item is paid and collected. Why not ask your own sa whether rollover is allowed? And there’s no fixed number for prespend. It differs with customers and SAs
Hahaha this is my dilemma too. I put deposit for 2 rings & 1 SO watch. Total close to 16k. I know LT dun allow carry over until qb is given (at least that’s what my SA told me). So I’m at the mercy of my SA to plan for my prespend. My personal take is that i aim for long term w my SA. So i trust her on this. And i guess nowadays we know it’s hardly 1:1 (except for long clients). So i just hope for the best! :drinks:

Thank you! The vibram sole thingy u did, was on the outer sole right? I read that several pages earlier and I guess I will do the same.

My issue is the slipping of my feet balls as maybe my feet is too dry with no grip against the sandal.

Depends on which Qb you are looking at. For my b, I only requested for colours and preferred hardware, when I asked about leather, my SA says it would make it even tougher and longer wait. Heard that Togo is more common for b.

yes, i am facing the same issue too, but i thought it was because the toe box was too large so my feet keep slipping forward. I bought 1/2 size down in the recent new ins and its a little better. there are some stickers which you can use on the shoe to add some friction. can try.
