Does anyone find that local Hermes stores no longer sell bags without existing profile history/prespend? Even with a profile, it is also very difficult to get non-qb bags…

Most of the bags are for display only and even the bags that do not have the signs, some SAs are not selling it either. Maybe it is just happening to me but I wonder if anyone else have the same observation?

All three stores carry different stocks. For RTW my observation is Takashimaya’s seems to stock more easy to wear pieces. For Home, Liat may be good as they have furniture as well. Since both are in town area, she can pop by both conveniently. HTh

Hey Kura, can I clarify what you’re trying to ascertain? You’re saying that as an existing Hermes client, you’ve requested for non-QB bags and have not been given any by your SA? If so, are you fairly new to your SA in terms of time/spending history and have you been maintaining a regular spending relationship with your SA across categories? Trying to find out more to dissect your issue. You’re fairly active on this forum so I originally assumed that you’re a long-time H client. A bit shocked to see this post. And pls pls do not take any offence. I come with no malice. Trying to see if we can get any clues on what’s going on on your side. Am sure the other supportive ladies will chime in.

Don’t quite ageee with the observation that it’s very difficult to get non-QB bags. Each time I’ve visited my store, I see non-QB offers being made and ladies and inspecting their new bags. I’ve personally also received non-QBs and SLG, and so have my friends. We patronise different stores. As for bags being offered to new clients, some ladies and have shared quite recently (in the last 20th pages le so) that they got offered.

Hi, hope I didn't interrupt the flow between you and Kura. This caught my eye and I was wondering if you could kindly share if you have had collected many qbs before getting non Qb or Slg? I have difficulty getting non Qb bags before and after getting my QB. I was waitlisted for a non Qb bag but it still has not materialized.

On a different note, did you perhaps get your Non Qb and SLR during the covid close off to tourists period or was it quite recent?

In the past 12 months, I have received 2 QBs across 2 calendar year (2021 and 2022) and also received SLGs and non-QB. No issue with timing ie before and after QB. Interspersed between bags, I buy across categories. Not some rich tai tai ok.. just a regular working professional. My past experience with offers have been consistent. Don’t see any issues but I’ve also been asking for lesser non-QBs over the years to put things into context.

Hello! I have started shopping since late 2020 and have been shopping with my SA since 2021. I am not a long time client haha.

Strangely, I haven’t seen anyone got offered any non-qb bags when I visit the stores in the past 6 mths. I do see qb getting offered since they were led to the private room to unbox it.

I have also tried in other stores that are not my home store but didn’t have much luck. 1 thing I noticed is the display of the bags. Most of them are for display only and when I asked about a bag that does not have the sign, I was told it is Paris stock and cannot be tried on or sold to any customer.
I have a non-qb that I am waiting for in my profile and my SA told me to wait for the bag to come in order not to risk losing the bag that I have been waiting for more than a year. I’m not sure if that is why though.
I have no complaints with my SA since when I go to other stores, I get the same experience too. She got my qb pretty fast as well so I am thankful for that.

I don’t have any issues before the borders open. I noticed the challenge started after the borders open now that you mentioned it…

Same with Kura, I’m also finding it hard to request for non qb bags. I’m not asking for hot items like picotin, mini e, mini Lindy…

When I visit, I always ask my SA to check and it’s always not available and cannot be waitlisted. It’s quite frustrating.

I suspect maybe because of prespend. Seems like non-qb needs some form of prespend and the prespend will get used up after you get a bag etc. Maybe that’s why most bags are for display only.

It may or may not. You could have read and heard this statement a thousand times but really, it may or may not, because it will depend on your SA and store on how they will view those purchases not coming from them. Its like in a relationship, some partners get jealous easily when their partners go out even with friends or talk to others but some dont mind at all. Thats why several members here have suggested to just open a different profile in a different store like your husband, friend, sister, mom etc. just to be on a safe side.
