Julide-The polka dot was my first Colette order and it was here in a flash too. No rhyme or reason to H arrivals is there, even when they are not technically coming straight from Hermes! Hope yours is with you soon!

The company it was shipped through seems to make a huge difference too, in my neck of the woods anyway. I find that packages sent from Europe to the US seem to arrive much more quickly via UPS and DHL than FedEx. Colette may use all three.

I just got an email from Colette requesting ID. I'm a first time buyer. Guess I'll be waiting a bit longer for shipping, but at least it means my order is definitely confirmed!

So glad to hear that! I was awaiting your answer as I have a new Armani that I would love to wear it with. I think it will work too. Interestingly, my jacket which is black cotton, has navy blue leather trim on the pockets.

I just tracked my package. It reads, "Package data processed by brokerage. Waiting for clearance. / Brokerage released shipment. Shipment is submitted to Clearing Agency for further clearance." What does that mean?Its just a scarf...

No but there is customs fees.Sometimes...

No VAT and that shows on the Colette receipt. I paid about 23? in Duty per the DHL bill last time. I suspect there will be another bill with this one as well. When you deal with carriers like this, they collect the Duty.

You have to use Paypal and it will be their exchange rate. As of today's exchange it is $386.67 and that included simple shipping and no insurance.

I paid a lot for insurance last time and decided that I really did not need it so went without this time. With a shipper like DHL/UPS you really do not need it.

Last time I ordered the Colette BDG polka dots it was around $ 360 -365. USD, then the customs duty was another $ 35-40.00 (billed separately by UPS). Be prepared to pay customs duty because when customs see it is from France and made of silk with the item value of over 300.00 there is no avoiding it. HTH.

I am assuming that you are in the US. If so, there is no VAT tax. If you are in Europe, there will be. With shipping my bill was 260.65 Euros which for me, translated to about 385 on the day that I bought it. You must use Paypal no matter where you are. Depends on where you are, but it is looking as if they are pretty quick and you should get in about 5 days.

Right, just saw what Lanit posted and there is Duty. Last time it was about $23 for me.
