Hey @Kuma_Lisa I just wanted to show you that I came across a pair of lizard chypre sandals!!! So... I think they do come in lizard, but very rare or not really known to many, and not for special order. Perhaps it's something your SA may know more about, if you were wondering if a specific colour of lizard is produced in the chypre sandal style. I've included a photo below of the ones I found.

Hahaha, just by chance that I was scrolling and found this red-ish orange lizard chypre! I know that you wanted ombre lizard, but I was stunned to even see any lizard on a chypre!!! I've actually never seen lizard chypres ever before this instagram post!

Good luck inquiring! Lmk what your SA says about lizard chypres, I might be interested too LOL. No problem!

I don’t have any exotic but have the premiere sandals in box calf. I find the front a bit narrow for my feet so my smallest toe rubs on the opening or cut on the edges. I do have wider feet so I would think if you have narrow or average width, it may work better. Surprisingly the strap or the back, which was my initial concern, did not hurt. I am in between sizes and opted to pick the size up so it may have helped. I have oasis and orans too and the oasis fits best for the shape of my feet. HTH

Ohh good to know. Thank you for sharing! I think my feet are on the medium side, not narrow but not particularly wide either. That said I think I won’t special order shoes with exotic leather in a style I have never owned or tried on. Thank you again for your helpful insights!

I have a pair in lizard but it's not an SO. The underside of the strap where the regular and lizard leather meet is quite uncomfortable. The stitching or the way the leathers were connected is rough and hurts my feet that I can't use it for long walks or might need to use a bandaid. I'd say it's poorly designed in terms of comfort. It would have been better if the stitch and regular leather went all the way to the metal ring. I don't have regular leather chypres so I can't compare it.

Edit: You were apparently asking about orans. Haha. Anyway, posting it for those who are interested in lizard chypres. 😊
