Yes much MUCH better to cancel beforehand (assuming you do it quickly enough that your SA can actually cancel it before being sent to Paris). It’s going to be very difficult for your store to sell those $6k shoes to someone else, especially because with shoes they’d have to find a willing buyer who also happens to be your same size, and they likely aren’t going to appreciate having to make the effort. This is how great offers mysteriously disappear…

Can you reject special order shoes? I just placed an order yesterday and think I regret it

I would also recommend to contact your SA. Usually it takes a few days until the boutique sends your SO to Paris. Enough time to change or cancel it. But yes, you can also reject it later.

Is anyone aware if they offer special ordering shoe sizes that aren’t typically made as well? I’m a 42-43 depending on the shoe, and know it’s a size they don’t offer in a lot of their shoes.

Shoe special orders are possible for size 34-42; nothing bigger.
