I don't have much room for GM shawls because in comparison with 90s a) I only wear them when it's really cold b) they take up more space to carry c) they're less versatile styling-wise (for me). I prefer men's 100s, but that's a different matter.
Therefore, every CSGM has to be a design and cw I can live with for a very long time. It took 6 years between CSGMs because of the background colour, or the design looked better in silk, or the general cw, or the design scale was too large/small and so on. It's a big piece of cloth around our necks, takes a big decision.
