Thanks! Seems like it will be more expensive but wondering if it will still be cheaper than buying new from a reseller. Looks like a nice selection though! Will stop by on my next trip!

I always thought Japanese prices are the most expensive although I have never really compared them to the Chinese stores. So prices in China is higher than in Japan?

I just came back and can confirm China prices are about 70% higher than those in France for bags and 50% higher for RTW. But with the devaluation it's only about 15% higher than US prices. I was also told that if I spend 100k RMB I can get a B/K and normally it takes about 150-200k. I was seriously tempted since previously I had accumulated some points in scarves and other non accessories but the high prices are still high to swallow and they didn't have the colors I wanted. There was a gorgeous C on display but no for sale unfortunately.

The Shanghai Maison has incredible inventory. They are also willing to sell bags... As long as you spend some amount.

+1... the goods I saw for sale in all of the H Shanghai stores were truly amazing. They had some very special pieces I haven't seen anywhere else.

Wow, I thought Australia is already expensive. My parents are there for holidays and I was thinking to ask them to check out the Shanghai store, guess I'll just leave it if that's the case, loll. But they've got heaps more stuff that's for sure.[emoji24]

as said before they are more expensive but the VAT is now refundable as certain location ie. Maison shop and department store branches, but exotic item are not VAT refundable, You can check H.com to see the prices comparison. Just again if you want coveted bags you need to drop some big bucks.

by what means the situation changed? score coveted items? they always have plenty at the back, but you just need to drop even bigger bucks to get them
