Thank you! is there anything that makes the 2001 and 2006 versions different from each other that would help me be able to tell which one I have? (I have a feeling its 2006 because it looks brand new)
Possibly the care label and coloration, however I don't know which colors came out when and, now that I think of it, I don't think the label changed between 2001 and 2006. Perhaps you should write to [email protected]. They would be able to tell you by cw.

Can anyone help me with the name and colourway of the following scarf. It's the first scarf in the picture (taken from parismonami). The one that's yellow and pink.

TIA

Hello!
I've just made my first Hermes purchase on a sudden whim. I've spent 5 hours transit and then finally bought myself an Hermes plisse scarf.

I have absolutely no idea about Hermes scarves. I just thought it was pretty so I bought it. Then I found out later that each item has a booklet which tells name of the scarf, the artist...

I don't have any booklet. I've just got the scarf, the box and paper bag. Is it normal? Anyway, would you please ID the details of my scarf? TIA

I have purchased many scarves over the years and never got such a booklet, not sure where your information is from?

Re your scarf, it's the plissé Dancing Pearls, from FW2008.

There is such a thing as a plisse booklet, but it is not H's custom to give one, or the regular booklet that features much of each season for that matter, with every purchase. Actually, often, boutiques are out of the booklets.

Can you provide better pictures? Is Hermes indicated anywhere on it? I need close-ups of detail/writing.
Thanks to MetzFan's sleuthing on the Authentication thread, I think I have found what this scarf is - it looks like Biarritz, originally designed by Hugo Grygkar in 1954, and apparently reissued in 2000. I can't find a large picture but it looks like what Le Brech sold http://www.artfact.com/auction-lot/hermes-paris-biarritz-rare-carre-de-soie-rose-1-c-1630cab602 and what The Perfect Red Box also sold http://www.theperfectredbox.com/category_26/2/Hermes-Scarves--Rare.htm, albeit in a different CW. Hope this helps :smile1:

thank you!

My aunt has this scarf and I fell in love with it. I have no idea what the name is but just found a second hand one for sale.
It's got the name Rybal on it. I've looked at all the suggested sites from this thread, and also searched the internet. Any help on the name would be appreciated. I'd die if it was available in different CWs.
Thank you in advance ladies.
