1997. There is a navy blue on on EB now. I have the same one (the auction is not mine..). I've only ever seen it in this c/w. Is the one you picture black? I can't tell on my monitor.

Thanks guys, I just wanted to know the name - for some reason it escaped the mind. lol
The one I posted was with black borders one.

What's ironic is the name is actually right in the middle of the scarf, lol.

I hope it's OK to ask about a twilly here.

DH returned from a trip to Vancouver with a twilly for me. He asked for Tohu Bohu (as per my instructions), and this is what they gave him. At first I was ! Ack! That's not what I wanted! I'll have to exchange it!

. . . but as happens with all things Hermes, I have now fallen in love with the design and color combo. The only thing is, I don't know what scarf design it's from. Can anyone help?

Thanks!:smile1:

Nevermind Ladies. I solved it myself. It's Pour Sortir.
Thanks anyway!

Hi All,
Glad to have found your great forum and I am hoping that someone out there with much needed expertise could help possiblly identify this mystery scarf (pic attached). I don't live near any H store that could help so I've got my fingers crossed that help is a click away:) I have checked through the 2 sites that were recommended for identification but have found nothing even close. ( However I did note that there was the use of perspective in the scarf and know that A M Cassandre used perspective- could they be the artist???)

I appreciate any help

The "II" means that it's a "Detail" or "Zoom" scarf of the original Vent Portant scarf. H did these Detail scarves for only about 1-2 yrs and basically H picked a less than 1/4 section of the original scarf and enlarged it to 90cm with a plain border. Artist is Yanick Mannier. Year is 2003.
thank you thank you thank you. I've been wondering for years (obviously since 2003!) what pattern this was, and now I've just tripped over your description! Wish I'd bought it then...

Hi All,
Is there anyone who can tell me anything abt the Hermes scarf I posted abt with pic on Aug 19. Someone did have one last week on Ebay so wrote to see if they knew anything but they had no idea abt it other than it being a Hermes and a vintage one(has the correct identification markings-they sold that one a few days later. So I still am in the dark. I know the pic is not the easiest and I do have better but it is telling me they are too large for posting here and won't atttach- the colorway is sage green with black/white and gray-there are different styles of carriages with drivers and people such as 2 seaters, larger ones with lots of people like a public carriage, one carriage with a young male driver whose hat has blown off behind him-appears the horse is taking off at a gallop and the young driver can't control him and the carriage.
I so hope someone can help????
