She famously went to the Hermes store/boutique/pavilion at the Windsor horse trials every year, in casual wear ie stout shoes, raincoat and scarf on head, not hat.
She was photographed and typically walked out with a new Hermes scarf every year, getting her the rep of wearing only Hermes.
Could it be a custom design just for the queen?

I'm afraid that's must be myth. I've been to the Windsor Horse Show since I was a child, visited the H stand on numerous occasions (she visited most stands). The Queen walked around, some occasions QEII was dressed in a suit and matching hat like on her Diamond Jubilee and visited all stands, sometimes no hat at all, and a couple of times a scarf. Always appropriate.

No, but she had lots of scarves that were non-H

I think she's wearing her 1972 in 2002 Regina (not a special or ltd ed). The 2002 Golden Jubilee special edition was blues and pinks

More hats than not! And a non Hermes scarf ! No Hermes scarves, what was I thinking ?? Mon Dieu !!! Sacre bleu
I know what it is - it is FAKE FRENCH DISINFORMATION NEWS due to main stream media ! LOL (big fat joke here...) I always saw the pix in Paris Match or Point de Vue - French magazines !! They had me thinking she always wore H scarves ... more likely, they ONLY showed pix with Hermes scarves

 Good publicity for H!

Windsor was/is up to 5 days long, and sometimes evening events too, so she must have worn lots of outfits. Mostly looking very regal, occasionally suitably horsey. I think she enjoyed every minute for sure.

My mom has an insane H scarf collection, and she gave me one because she discovered she had a duplicate, but I don't know what the design is, I know its vintage because she thinks it was my grandmothers before it was hers, which is why she has a duplicate.

Name of the design is in the middle, Republique Francais Liberte Egalite Fraternite. It's first issued in 1989 at the bicentennial anniversary of France becoming a republic. Joachim Metz is the designer for this silk.
