Tried this coat. Very elegant and chic, really lovely, but didn't like the look when the collar isn't done up unfortunately.

Beautiful! Is that the one that is a bit egg-shaped? My boutique had one in black, but at only 5 feet 4 inches, I looked like I was drowning in it. But I really, really liked the look. If only I was six feed tall and rail thin

I didn't notice an egg-shape, more flowy and tentlike lol. I'm 5.9 so no problems with drowning lol. Still a bit dreaming about this coat though.

Well, I am short and curvy, so maybe this is where the egg-shape came from . I am sure it looks great on someone your height! And the material was so soft and lightweight.... I bought a trench-coat style cashmere coat instead. The belted style looked much better on me. But I sure liked the ease and sophistication of the one you tried on....

Well there is a short version of this exact coat. In 3 colours.

Just the color, the fit it’s oversize and relaxed and it’s what I was looking for
