I LOVED the details on the collar and the cuff, and the color. But I ended up passing on it because of the cropped style and lack of side pockets. I'll most likely end up getting the box calf leather one (in the same color) instead that's slightly longer with pockets, but I wish the box leather one had the cool details too!

ETA my try-on pics of the cropped textured jacket and the not cropped box jacket, both in rouge sellier:

Also liked this knitted top. The merchandiser said they ordered very few of these because they only work if one is not well-endowed up top. She said they saw it on a model with a large bust and it was not flattering due to the chunky knit. Luckily I am very not well-endowed in that area! Wearing it with my new bootcut high waisted leather pants.

Both look awesome on you!! Didn’t realize the cropped one doesn’t have pockets. Did it feel stiff, with the pressed treated leather?

I just got a H chevre biker jacket and I really love it. It’s very soft and comfortable in chevre.

Thank you! Yeah the cropped one was definitely a bit stiff, and didn't feel as soft. But the "structured look" was kinda cool I thought.

Oooh I'd love to see a pic of you in the biker jacket! I still have the box leather one on hold, 90% sure I'll get it.

It's the Private Sale. Once a year they do it at an off-site location, not at the boutique, and it's by invitation only. Comes from corporate, not your SA. It's not current items, usually stuff from last year or older, like RTW, shoes, scarves, etc. There's multiple threads about it. Right now the sale is happening in NYC, but there were also Private Sales in Toronto and London recently. And I also got an invitation to the one in Miami in November.

Not in etoupe, but tried it- gorgeous jacket but was too large for me in the 34- did not come in a 32, if I remember correctly.
I'm approx 5'2/3" and not 100 lbs- but my shoulders are small- that's where I had the issue.

Hi, I have this jacket! I think I bought it back in the spring and posted some mod shots then. It’s an oversized fit and I needed the sleeves shortened. Hermes did it free of charge. It is a beautiful jacket and the leather is supple and soft.

Have you tried it on in the boutique yet? I feel like H sizing is all over the place and you really have to try things on in person to decide.
