Here are some pics from the RTW event. They had all the looks from the runway show and some of the bags. But not the disco ball Birkin!

There were also a lot of things that I asked about that either are not going to be made commercially or was not ordered by the U.S. stores (according to the person in charge of ordering RTW for the U.S.)

There was one fitting room so I was able to try on a few things. Everything was a sample and in size 38, so some things fit better than others. I also got there towards the end so ran out of time. I was able to place orders for pieces that will be produced commercially and ordered by US. My SA said he will send me pricing information later this week. I did not have to prepay for anything and not obligated to buy. Delivery expected in March / April.

Here are a few items I tried on. Sample size 38, which is not my typical size, but they said sample sizing runs small.

@gi201 the silk shirt we like was not ordered by the US! They felt it was neither a blouse nor a jacket and I guess just didn’t think it would sell. I told the person that this is actually an item that I think normal people could wear! Oh well- we’ll have to ask if they got it in Paris then.

The knit “dress” is actually a top buttoned onto a separate skirt, with the midsection taken out. They did not have the matching skirt for the red top so that’s why it’s a different color bottom. You can wear the top as a crop (I won’t be doing that lol) or as a regular top with the mid section buttoned on.

The darker pieces are blue nuit, so navy, which is what my Paris SA told me.

The jacket is lightweight wool with leather lapel. It’s hip length. There was a really nice long silk version but it was not ordered by the US. (Or not being made - I can’t remember.)

The 2 tops are different. I already ordered the shorter top with my Paris SA. It has a very open back with a waist strap. Not sure how I will style this because I’m not comfortable with an open back. The other longer top with the belt also has an open back, but less open and you could wear a camisole under it without looking strange.

Thank you so much for the intel! I think for the shorter black top, a bandeau top would look nice layered underneath. Something like this look from SS23:

The leather lapel coat looks so good on you! Love the two tops too.

t also has this slit pocket in front. I’m not sure what it would be for since it’s an open pocket, but maybe a metro card or something?

I thought that pocket was just a hand warmer, like a pocket for your hand so when you walk you look cool. The plume and arcon both look good on you.
