Tried on a couple of things in Asia in preparation for my A/W travels.
Classic pink Twillaine cardi with a little bit of gold bling in the trim, cotton shorts in the same material and colour as my dress. I found the pink quilted jacket quite a nice cut on me. Same with the padded Astrologie jacket which comes with a matching pencil skirt to make a total look.

The boucle quilted jacket looks great on you! I tried that on in Paris and it didn’t work for me. It’s a beautiful piece!

I do like it. My store in Asia has now added one extra floor, dedicated to women's RTW and shoes, so I was spoilt for choice. There was sooooo much to choose from including the runway pleated dresses/ skirts and some really amazing off runway pieces.

Also tried these. The coat with the attached shawl inserts is cut way oversized, this is 34 and has the dropped shoulder seams which don't work well on me. It's cut for someone very well endowed and I only got a bit of shape by trying it in front. Please imagine that I am wearing leggings instead of leather shorts.
The shorts are loose on me in size 38 but quite comfy.

I actually like the shawl coat on you. It looks very cozy. And the color looks great on you too.

Bought one from this season, I may(?) have posted photos already.

I have worn it once already and received many compliments -

However, when I got home I realized that I had spilled something on it. :wtf:
Not a little dribble...like, a real spill. Not small. :crybaby:

I would not necessarily recommend this to anyone, but I am pretty handy with stains, so I was able to get it out - I was thrilled that in the morning I didn't even see a water mark. :wlae: :yahoo:

(if I am out, I hit a stain with seltzer immediately, then check when I get home. I didn't notice this until I was home and it had dried...took my time with a little water and hand soap and a lot of blotting and a bit of cursing and maybe a prayer or two)

The husband and I picking up our caftan. I'm not a fan of the kelly belts because they're not reversible, so I only tried one on.View attachment 5869516

Looks great on both of you! I tried this on a few weeks ago but opted not to purchase it. Now I think I'm regretting that decision. I liked it on but it was lower on the list of things I liked. Maybe I'll reach out to my SA to see if she still has it or can track it down.

I like the colour and it only looks like this after I rolled up the sleeves a little, styled the shawl ends and tied it super tight to show my SA. Otherwise two of me can fit into that coat. I think too much air circulating about will not keep me warm in winter, so I have to pass.

I love how this cardigan looks on you. The padded jacket looks nice but a little hard to tell with the dress tied underneath. Is the Astrologie the same length?

Actually my favorite in these photos is the shoes. That color is perfect on you (like the cardigan!) and you make them look good!

At this price, only get it if you will really wear it. I wear dresses year round, so I can make this work most of the except during the coldest days of winter/hottest days of summer.

I did remove the dress tie later to check and the jacket does sit nicely.
I believe the Astrologie is a little longer.
I would have liked to try these with proper coordinating pieces as it hard to judge an entire A/W look without my regular leggings, boots etc.
Thank you, I finally wore my fave pair of Santorinis and also found a couple more Chypres today.

i love this dress so much i really had to control myself and not reach out to my SA. I bought a caftan last year which i still havent worn yet but in general i think these dresses are amazing and timeless !

Looks fabulous on you, twin!

I actually prefer the Kelly Belt for several reasons - it’s fully adjustable so it will fit with whatever you’re wearing, and I find it lays flatter than a belt with a separate buckle. I realize the turnlock isn’t flat, but the belt and buckle themselves seem to get in the way.

Thank you!
You too!

I haven't thought about the adjustability of the kelly belt vs traditional belt holes. I'll take a second look at a kelly belt then! What do you think about a chain belt?
